True Blood Season 4 Start Date–Waiting Sucks No More!

According to HBO:

The 12-episode fourth season of TRUE BLOOD will kick off SUNDAY, JUNE 26 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, this hit drama series was created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy®-winning series “Six Feet Under.” The show follows the romance between waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and her soul mate, 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).

    Sam and Tommy running naked through the woods all the time, Jesús and Lafayette getting in on all the time and now Tara is a lesbo.  This has turned into a seriously gay show. The unabashed heterosexual orgies and constant pointless sex scenes in the past seasons were over the top but at least they were tolerable. I’m sure if I keep watching the writers will eventually have Bill and Eric blowing each other.  Really sad. There were few characters left that were pillars and they made Andy a V junkie. Meth lab Hillbillies are Werepanthers give me a break. Can’t stand the show now.  Four episodes into season 4 and I’m finished.

    Spoilers that I’ve heard so far for this season:

    Sookie hooks up with a wolf
    Eric has amnesia
    The vampire king breaks out of his concrete “tomb”
    Arlene and Terry are haunted by Renee and the baby isn’t what they thought it would be.
    Tommy shows back up with more shape shifters.

    There’s more but I forget.

    At least in the States you’ll see it around a year before we do in the UK. Why the wait HBO, FX Channel, Channel 4 ???? WHY………………

      The good thing is that once the season starts there won’t be any breaks. They are supposed to air a new episode over the Fourth of July weekend. It still stinks that we have to wait 2 more weeks. At least its starting in June. The poster is kind of odd but neat. I liked the cast photo from last season.
