Will Bill Die in the True Blood Season 7 Finale?
In Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) of HBO’s True Blood, many fans were shocked to discover that even though Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) had been doing her very best to find a cure for Bill Compton’s (Stephen Moyer) accelerated dose of Hep-V, he said no when the antidote was finally found inside the blood of Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp). It turns out even Stephen Moyer was a bit confused as to Bill’s decision:
I had a slight issue with it, because I couldn’t understand why he would go to the storeroom to Fangtasia and then say no. Ultimately, he goes because he wants to do right by Sookie. His decision to not turn around then and there is his going along with what Sookie has tried to make happen, and it’s really only when he’s right there that he thinks, ‘no.’
But where will this leave Bill leading into the final episode of HBO’s True Blood ever? Will Bill finally meet the true death? Stephen has this to say about Episode 10 (entitled Thank You):
At the end of [episode] nine, he has called Sookie and had the conversation with Eric, Eric’s gone back, and he knows that he’s going to talk to her. He’s going to see her, because she deserves it and is owed it, to know what’s been going on for him and why he is doing what he’s doing. We sort of enter into the episode right there.
Right, so that’s as clear as mud now! However, there is also this last piecel of information:
One of the things that Anna and I said — we had a dinner with Bucky [showrunner Brian Buckner] a year ago, before we had started filming, when they were just conceiving of this year, and quite frankly sat down with him and said, “We do not need in any way need you guys to try to tie up the Bill-Sookie love knot. If you don’t feel like that’s part of the show, we absolutely don’t need for it to be that.” I had said, “If you want that, we both do. If you see the show as Alcide [Joe Manganiello] and Sookie, that would be totally cool by us. If you see it as Eric [Alexander Skarsgard] and Sookie, that would be absolutely cool.” I certainly didn’t want to play an obvious part. One of the things we’ve been good at is surprising the audience, not always giving them what they want or expect. So for me, it’s been interesting to sort of find that character again. He’s been so many things. I think he’s had the most difficult arc in many respects, trying to find that sustenance and feeling.
Well, your guess is now as good as mine as to where the end of True Blood is headed in the final hour. Let us know your theories by commenting below!

In last week’s episode of HBO’s True Blood we saw a break from Ginger tradition. The Fangtasia waitress saw the end of an Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) dry spell – and rather than scream about it, she moaned. For three seconds. Before passing out on the fall in a puddle of fangbanging glory.
With such little time until the very last episode of HBO’s True Blood ever, there still seems such a long wait to discover whether Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) lives or dies. Deborah Ann Woll, however, was recently interviewed by Zap2It about the True Blood Finale and let slip a few intriguing hints about Bill’s future – or lack of it in Episode 10 (entitled Thank You). The first one occurs when she is asked about the evolution of her character, Jessica Hamby (who is the progeny of Bill):
Recently, Nathan Parsons (who plays vampire James and the latest love interest of Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) on HBO’s True Blood) was interviewed by Access Hollywood about saying goodbye to True Blood and what is next on the cards for him.
Here we have it: the very last sneak peek video of HBO’s True Blood EVER! In this video we find Sookie Stackhouse (

Layla Crawford is only eight years old and already she has an impressive resume. Her most recent role had her appearing in HBO’s True Blood as a younger version of Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) in a flashback. But this pint sized actor has loved to perform since joining dance classes as a three year old. It was this love of the stage that led her to pursue an acting career and eventually winding up playing the role of Olivia in First Family alongside Gladys Knight and Jackee Harry.
Many truebies were jumping up and down in excitement when Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and vampire Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) seemingly got back together in Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) of HBO’s True Blood Season 7. With only one episode left, fans were placing this story line in the ever growing ‘finished and packed away‘ pile.
Well, wasn’t Episode 9 of HBO’s True Blood Season 7 interesting? For one cast member in particular, it was the climax of a promise made years earlier! If you haven’t watched the episode yet, you can read our recap by clicking
Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) really does choose to die, it’s not just a cliffhanger. As a result both Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) and Sookie Stachouse (Anna Paquin) are PISSED. Jess to the point that she asks to be released from Bill. Sookie to the point of slapping him silly until Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) intervenes.
But what if all Sookie (Anna Paquin) wants right now is to see Bill (Stephen Moyer) live? This is the very question asked by Sookie in the opening of sequence of the sneak peek trailer release of HBO’s True Blood Season 7 finale.
For many fans of HBO’s True Blood, Season 7 has been particularly hard, knowing it will be the very last one. But, even with our multitude of combined tears, it is pretty obvious that the person most upset with True Blood meeting the true death is Kristin Bauer van Straten (who plays Pam, the vampire with more snark than anyone). But how did she cope with receiving – and reading – the very last script?
But what if one of the stars were into drinking the real stuff? For Jim Parrack (who stars as Hoyt Fortenberry in HBO’s True Blood Season 7), it seems that his work habits have rubbed off on his personal life, when he admitted to Vulture recently that he likes to drink human blood. He did reassure the magazine that it is not a full time habit, and when supping from his girlfriend, it is only in small amounts:
It seems Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) will say a final goodbye to yet another original cast member of HBO’s True Blood! But will they die? It seems the devil is in the fine print of what TVGuide had to say about the upcoming episode recently:
Here’s the penultimate sneak peek #2 clip of HBO’s True Blood ever! In Episode 9 (ominously entitled Love is to Die) of True Blood Season 7, we find Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) deep in conversation at Bellefleur’s (formerly known as Merlotte’s) about loss, grief and how to move on. It seems Sookie has admitted that she never fully committed to her relationship with Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) because of the feelings she still had for vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).
