With less than a week to go, Trubies are not sure whether to be excited or sad about the return of HBO’s True Blood. There isn’t loads of new footage to be found here in the scant 15 seconds below, but it’s nice to see the new mayor of Bon Temps, Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) in the video clip.

Let us know what you think of this video – and are you throwing a True Blood premiere party this year? Comment below!

True Blood Season 7: Get Ready for Some Steamy Action!

Who Teams up for Some Same-Sex Action on HBO’s True Blood Season 7?

Ryan Kwanten stars as Jason Stakhouse in HBO's True Blood Season 7Fans of HBO’s True Blood can look forward to an unlikely matching in True Blood Season 7 but who it will be is still open for unterpretation!

While not a lot has been revealed yet, TVLine have released this very interesting teaser for an upcoming episode in Season 7 when a fan asked or a spoiler on the final season:

How about what’s sure to be the most talked-about sex scene in True Blood history? And yes, it’s crazier than that time Bill [Compton (played by Stephen Moyer)] climbed out of his grave and had sex with Sookie [Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin)] in the graveyard. This same-sex hookup, between two non-gay characters, goes down in Episode 2 of the show’s final season — and trust me, it was worth the wait. I can’t say much more, but in case you’re wondering, this particular “love” scene is accompanied by strings.

Strings? As in 50 Shades of Grey type of strings? Or maybe they just mean there will be strings attached? Either way, this will be one interesting love scene, that’s for sure!

So who will it involve? While Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) is openly gay in True Blood, this would seem like the most likely person. However, it would not be a shock to see him pairing up with another guy – after all, we’ve already seen that when he hooked up with the awesome Jesus (Kevin Alejandro).

But, remember back in Season 6 when Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) healed Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and there was the promise of a Jason/Eric dream pairing there? Wouldn’t it be awesome if we got to see this in Season 7? And according to True Blood’s show runner, Brian Buckner, this might just be a reality:

I think you can reasonably expect it. With our show there is an appetite — Alan from the get-go called it “popcorn for smart people.” And popcorn is addictive: You keep eating it and expect there to be another piece of popcorn right away. My favorite shows on TV make you wait for things. So the idea that I failed to deliver on a promise when I only made one episode after that promise … You know, sometimes things are better when we wait for them. I would love to get our audience conditioned to the idea that this might be a show that delays gratifications sometimes. Because of course we know people want to see that dream. The setup wasn’t written lightly. And believe me, there were HBO executives who were saying, “You have to give us the dream!” And we will. Of course we will. But that doesn’t mean it has to come in the very next episode.

If it’s not Eric and Jason – who would you like to see hook up in True Blood Season 7? Let us know in the comments below!

True Blood Season 7: More Synopses Revealed!

True Blood’s Episodes 3- 6:

Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood Season 7With less than two weeks until the premiere of HBO’s True Blood Season 7, fans are scrambling for any information possible on how this, the final season, will pan out. SpoilerTV is, as always, ever so helpful in this department and have released the following details about the synopses for Episodes 3 through to 6:

Episode 7.03 – Fire in the Hole

Sookie hatches a dangerous plan; Pam looks to motivate Eric.

Episode 7.04 – Sick of Goodbyes

Sookie enlists a band of vampires and humans to track down the H-Vamps.

Episode 7.05 – Return to Oz

Sookie hosts a mainstreaming party; Eric and Pam head to Dallas for a fundraiser.

Episode 7.06 – Karma

Sookie makes a shocking discovery; Eric and Pam forge an unlikely alliance.

So it looks like fans will get to find out how Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) escapes his extreme suntanning experiment from as early as Episode 2 since it seems Eric and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) are certainly reunited by Episode 3.

What is even more intriguing though is why are they heading to Dallas? And who would they possibly be joining up with that would be considered an ‘unlikely alliance‘?

Meanwhile, it seems Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is as busy as usual this season; what with mainstreaming parties, vamps to track down and shocking discoveries to be made.

So, what are your thoughts on True Blood Season 7? Have these synopses changed your perception on how Season 7 will unfold? Let us know in the comments below!

True Blood Season 7: Episode 1 Brings the First Fatality

Which True Blood Regular Will Bite the Dust:

Group still of HBOs True Blood Season 7With mere weeks to go until the premiere of HBO’s True Blood Season 7, news is coming in fast and furious – and the latest is a shocker! According to not only TV Guide, but MTV.com, one True Blood cast member will die straight up in Episode 1. While neither source will spill the beans on who it is, TV Guide had this to say:

When the HBO drama returns, the Hep-V-infected vampires that were poised to attack Bon Temps arrive and the bloodbath quickly ensues. Unfortunately, the casualties are not just redshirts. In fact, one character’s fate is so jaw-dropping that you’ll spend the rest of the episode wondering if what you just watched was a dream. It’s not, which clearly means all bets are off in this final season.

So someone will die quickly, and probably brutally at the start of the episode. Who could it be? MTV.com follows up with:

Oh and yes, the rumors are true — as TVGuide confirmed, a major character bites it in the show’s opening moments, with very little fanfare. It’s a brutal fate for someone who has been an integral part of the series for years, and it instantly sets the tone for the rest of the season. No one is safe. No one.

While neither are giving much away, there is still plenty of clues.

So Here’s What We DO Know:

  • The death happens very quickly. Considering the fact that Season 6 finished with the Hep V vamps showing up at Bellefleurs (formerly Merlotte’s) and the knowledge that Season 7 will pick up directly from this point, it will have to be someone we saw at the end of Season 6. There were plenty of our True Blood regulars present. Right off the bat we see Arlene (Carrie Preston), Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll), Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) and his pregnant girlfriend, Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Tara (Rutina Wesley) and her mother, Lettie Mae (Adina Porter). In fact, everyone seems to make an appearance! It could be any one of these characters.
  • It’s a character that is integral to the show. This narrows it down some. It’s unlikely then to be Lettie Mae. While she has been there from the start, she has not been a regular cast member. Add into the mix the fact that she has just been upgraded to series regular, it seem very unlikely she’ll die in the first episode. Holly (Lauren Bowles) is another who seems fairly safe as well. Others such as Violet (Karolina Wydra), Nicole, James the vampire and Willa Burrell (Amelia Rose Blaire) also seem to be off the hook.
  • The trailers release more information. So far we have two trailers for True Blood Season 7. While we have been lamenting the glaringly absent Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), the clips, once rewatched, now shed some light on who will die in Episode 1. With the death occurring at Bellefleurs at the start of the episode, it means all those trailer scenes shown in broad daylight drastically shorten the list for us. We see plenty of clips with Sookie (Anna Paquin), Alcide (Joe Manganiello), Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer), Jason and Sam. Considering this, they have to be safe. There is also footage of Sookie and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) talking about what has happened in Bon Temps. So he has to be safe as well. Then there is a very brief snippet of Lafayette wearing completely different clothes to what we saw him in at the end of Season 6 – yep, he has to be in the clear as well.

So, Who’s Left?

  • Jessica. While she is absent from Bellefleurs when the vampires attack, it is possible she may rush off to help. Also, add into the mix the fact that there are snippets of Jessica and a shadowy figure in the second trailer video, and suddenly I am getting very fearful for her well being.
  • Arlene. She has been there from the start, yet she doesn’t seem to appear in the trailers – could she be the one to die?
  • Tara. She is another True Blood regular that seems to be absent from the teaser videos. Could she die all over again?

Let me know who you think will die in Episode 1 of HBO’s True Blood Season 7 by commenting below!

Alexander Skarsgard FINALLY Talks About True Blood Season 7

Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard Reminisce:

True Blood Farewell Special on HBOWhile fans are gearing up for True Blood Season 7, HBO has released a True Blood special promo that just might help ease the way as fans lament over the show’s demise. On Sunday June 15th at 8.30pm, fans can tune into HBO for a Farewell to Bon Temps special.

While a lot of the footage in this clip is from past episodes, there are still a few gems hidden. Alan Ball (the show’s original show runner) talks about why people love vampires so much, Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) talks about falling in love and Kristin Bauer van Straten (who plays vampire Pam) talks about the difficulty with using different languages on True Blood.

But the true surprise is the fact that Alexander Skarsgard (who plays Eric Northman) FINALLY gets some air time. Previously, every promo has excluded the viking vampire, leaving fans wondering just how and when this character will be portrayed in True Blood Season 7. Not only do we get a visual of the tall blonde actor, but we get these words of wisdom:

It’s going to be very emotional, this final season.

Sure, it’s not much, but at least we have the very first sighting of Alexander Skarsgard! You can watch the full clip below, and don’t forget to bookmark 8.30 pm on Sunday June 15th 2014 in order to watch this great farewell special!

How do you think Eric Northman will be portrayed in True Blood Season 7? Also, how many episodes do you think will pass before we see him? Let us know in the comments below.

True Blood Season 7: Trailer #2 – Still No Eric Northman

HBO Teaser Video Shows Plenty of Bill Compton, But Eric is Still Elusive:

Alexander Skarsgard stars (hopefully) as Eric Northman in HBO's True blood Season 7Well, HBO released the second official trailer video for True Blood Season 7 – and, yep, there’s still not a single sighting of Eric Northman (played by Alexander Skarsgard). They have upped the level of Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) appearances though and we’re not really sure what that all means yet.

This doesn’t mean the trailer video is boring though – quite the opposite in fact! There is PLENTY of action occurring from the very first second, right up until the close at 55 seconds. Here’s a quick break down for you:

  • Sookie (Anna Paquin) seems to think she is the only person in town who knows so much about vampires and then concludes that a war has erupted.
  • Speaking of wars, it seems there will be a battle between who will win Sookie over in the end.
  • There is a whole bunch of happy shots – and this would indicate that something bad is probably just around the corner…
  • Pam (Kristin Bayer van Straten) appears in brief snippets that give away absolutely nothing.
  • A blonde woman is apparently being taken against her will – is it Ginger (Tara Buck) perhaps?
  • Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) is eager to let people know that he belongs ‘here’ – just where ‘here’ is though could be anyone’s guess.
  • That bit where we saw all happy scenes, yeah, I was right, it all goes down the crapper towards the end of this trailer with people being bitten and the Bellefleur’s looking like a bomb zone.
  • There is a bomb exploding in front of Bill at what could possibly be Fangtasia.
  • Bill tells Sookie that there will be some sort of a decent, and, as a result, ‘they’ will be greatly outnumbered. On what, who or where, we don’t know yet. It does seem that Bill is trying to make up his behavior towards Sookie in Season 6 here though…

HBO: Official Synopsis for First Episodes of True Blood Season 7

HBO’s Press Release Promises Intrigue and a Search For Eric Northman:

One Last Bite True Blood Season 7 promo posterFans of HBO’s True Blood are eagerly awaiting June 22nd 2014 when the final season begins. While all the promos recently have shown plenty of hints in regards to a lot of the True Blood characters, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) has still remained elusive.

Recently we were blessed with a short synopsis of some of the first few episodes of True Blood Season 7, HBO has bitten the bullet and released the first official synopsis for Episode 1 and 2 of Season 7! The details for Episode 1 are below:

Episode #71: “Jesus Gonna Be Here”
Debut: SUNDAY, JUNE 22 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)

A band of rogue H-vamps crashes the vampire-human mixer at Bellefleur’s, with shocking results. As Sookie (Anna Paquin) seeks refuge from accusations that she’s
somehow to blame for the chaos in Bon Temps, the “one vampire for every human” plan moves forward. In the face of a vigilante insurrection led by redneck Vince (Brett Rickaby), Bill (Stephen Moyer) receives aid from an unexpected source.

Written by Angela Robinson; directed by Stephen Moyer.

This is kind of what we expected since Brian Buckner along with other members of the cast have confirmed that Season 7 would start right where Season 6 left off. But, hello, Vince (played by Bruce Rickaby) is a new name! It seems we have yet another anti-vampire vigilante on our hands. As for Sookie (Anna Paquin) somehow coping the blame for the Hep V vampires, why isn’t the finger being pointed at someone more responsible for the outbreak?

The synopsis for Episode 2, however, is even more intriguing:

Episode #72: “I Found You”
Debut: SUNDAY, JUNE 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

A trio of hostages taken in the Bellefleur’s attack looks to a familiar face as a possible liberator from the H-vamps. Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) visit the neighboring town of Saint Alice, where a young woman’s diary offers clues to the potential fate of Bon Temps. Spurned by Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), a desperate Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) turns to Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) to channel her family past. Vince whips his fellow vigilantes into a dangerous frenzy. Pam’s (Kristin Bauer van Straten) search for her maker leads her to a very familiar place.

Written by Kate Barnow; directed by Howard Deutch.

Who is that familiar face in Bellefleur’s? And why are Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) heading into a town we have never heard of before now? Who is this young woman whose diary offers up information on the fate of Bon Temps? Why is Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) turning to a vampire to find out about her past – and why is Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) able to ‘channel’ now she’s a vampire?

The fact that Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) is still searching for Eric Northman is almost overlooked with all the questions arising as a result of the first part of this synopsis!

What do you think all of this means? Let us know in the comments below!

6 New Things You Didn’t Know About True Blood Season 7!

Season 7 Will be a Bloodbath:

Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse in HBOs True Blood Season 7With less than a month to go until HBO’s True Blood Season 7 kicks off, there is plenty of anticipation! Fans are scouring the latest teaser videos and promo posters in order to extract every last tasty morsel of information in relation to the very last season of True Blood.

Thanks to a recent on the set interview by TVGuide, there is now a whole lot more to pine over. Husband and wife True Blood actors, Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill Compton), Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) and showrunner, Brian Buckner had the following to say about True Blood Season 7:

  • Bill has to kill both a greedy human and a menacing vampire in Season 7. Who they are and whether we know either of them remains to be seen.
  • The abovementioned deaths involve a bloodbath unheard of – even for True Blood standards. The special effects involved in this gore ridden scene have been dubbed ‘Bellagio‘ (after the famous fountain in Las Vegas)
  • Season 7 will end on a more personal note according to Brian Buckner:

We’re going back to the original promise of the show: Bill and Sookie. People are going to be very surprised about the way we get there. There’s romance, sadness and resolution.

  • Nobody is safe. Nobody. With the outbreak of Hep V infected vampires encroaching on Bellefleurs (formerly Merlotte’s), fans had no doubt of this. It will probably come down to just how many of our True Blood faves will succumb.
  • Sookie cannot save everyone. Anna Paquin had this to say:

The stakes are the highest they’ve ever been. Sookie gets into situations she’s going to need help getting out of.

  • Bon Temps may be going to hell in a handbasket, but people will still be getting naked! Well, this we probably could have guessed at already, but Brian Buckner has just confirmed it for us.

True Blood Season 7: Could Sookie Stackhouse End Up as a Vampire?

Latest  Promo Poster Features Sookie With a Bloody Tear:

And we all know that only vampires in the Sookieverse cry bloody tears. Could this latest promo poster from HBO for True Blood Season 7 signify a change in Sookie (Anna Paquin)? Will she sacrifice the very thing she cherishes so dearly – being a human – in order to save someone else?

True to the End HBO True Blood Season 7 promo poster

This idea was investigated in in Season 6, so surely the writers wouldn’t draw upon this dilemma so soon? However, we have seen a lot of doom and gloom in the trailers for Season 7. We have also seen Sookie sobbing and bloody as someone appears to be dying in her arms – could this be the catalyst needed for Sookie to consider becoming a vampire?

Yet, the title of the poster seems to say otherwise: True to the End. This would suggest that Sookie wouldn’t turn – no matter what odds are stacked against her.

So why is she crying bloody tears HBO?

Anna Paquin Confirms Rutger Hauer is Back for True Blood Season 7

Sookie’s Fairy Grandfather, Niall Brigant, Will Return:

In Season 6 of HBO’s True Blood, we met Sookie Stackhouse’s (Anna Paquin) fairy grandfather, Niall Brigant (played by Rutger Hauer). While his storyline completed its arc with the advent and then subsequent demise of the Season 6 baddie, Warlow/Ben Flynn (Robert Kazinsky), Niall was still very much alive. Since the Season 6 finale, many fans have been more concerned with whether Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) will live or die in True Blood Season 7, but there was still the fact that Niall was alive. This meant he could possibly stage a return for True Blood’s final season.

Well, now it seems Anna Paquin herself has confirmed Rutger Hauer has indeed returned to the True Blood set with the following recent tweet:

First base, huh? With your ear? EW!

I wonder how Niall’s storyline will conclude in Season 7? Will it involve more hilarious one liners between Niall and his ’embarrassing’ grandson Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten)? Does this suggest that Niall will be needed to fight yet another evil fairy? Maybe Niall will be one of the characters returning in a flashback this season? Or did Rutger Hauer merely drop by the set and Anna is just stirring the pot with her comment on Twitter?

Let us know your theories about Niall’s apparent return in the comments below!

HBO Releases More True Blood Season 7 Posters

Five More Bloody True Blood Posters On Offer:

One Last Bite True Blood Season 7 promo posterRecently, HBO released the first teaser poster for the very final season of its popular vampire show, True Blood. It was direct and straight to the point: Goodbyes Suck. And they sure do when Season 7 is the very last time we can anticipate all the hype that goes on in the last month of a season return of our fave supernatural show!

The poster was crisp white with nothing but a little blood and those bittersweet words to tide us over until June 22nd 2014 when True Blood Season 7 premiers.

Well, now we have five new posters to keep us going until the show returns – and all of them pull at the heartstrings just as much as the first one did.

They are all similar in appearance, with each showing scant dribbles of blood. The only one different in design is entitled Last Call. It shows a shot glass that has recently been used to consume a shot of blood. Interestingly enough this glass is emblazoned with the Merlotte’s logo and not that of the new name of the establishment, Bellefleurs – wonder if that is significant or not? Guess only time will tell now…

You can check out the five new posters plus the original Goodbyes Suck poster below. Then, let us know which one is your favorite in the comments below! For me, it’s a toss up between the Merlotte’s Last Call and the Immortality one.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 3 Title Name Released!

HBO Gives Us the Heads Up on What’s in Store for True Blood:

HBO True Blood Promo PosterFans of HBO’s True Blood are eagerly scrambling for whatever information they can find out about Season 7 – the very last season in the series ever. So when HBO releases the title name for Episode 3 of Season 7, then we just had to jump on it! It’s not much, but it is certainly something to mull over until June 22nd 2014 when True Blood premieres!

True Blood Season 7 Episode 3 Details

Fire in the Hole – what an interesting title name that is. Considering Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) is still searching for Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) in Episode 2, could she actually find him? Or is this a reference to the Hep V infected vampires that were encroaching on Bellefleurs (formerly Merlotte’s) at the very end of True Blood Season 6? Considering the fact that the teaser videos for Season 7 of True Blood have a distinct battlezone feel to it, could this imply that ‘they'(whomever ‘they‘ may be) are planning to bomb the crap out of those infected vamps in this episode?

Let us know your theories on this title by commenting below!

VIDEO: True Blood Season 7 – The Next Tantalizing Trailer!

Truebie Fans Get Another True Blood Tease from HBO:

Kristin Bauer van Straten stars as Pam in HBOs True Blood Season 7 promo trailer 1It wasn’t that long ago that we got to see the very first sneak peek of HBO’s True Blood Season 7! Now we need to hold onto our hats for the next wicked tease. This clip is interspliced with clips from the very start of True Blood as well as plenty of new stuff to pore over. Here’s the breakdown for you:

  • There is a distinct reference to the fact that ‘we can’t go back to the way things were’ – this might be a little unsettling to those fans that enjoyed the return of a quieter season with Season 6. Are things about to get overly crazy all over again?
  • Remember when Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) told Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) she was safe with him? Yeah, well right after we have a flashback of that, we get a flash of True Blood Season 7 – and it’s of people being ripped out of a car and and radio reports of a ‘bloodbath’ – are they implying Bill is deceiving Sookie again this year? Notably, there is footage to suggest this bloodbath may have occurred at the newly named Bellefleurs (formerly Merlotte’s) since there is a scene of the establishment at the very end and it doesn’t look good at all.
  • Next we find a flashback to Sookie’s gran – is this one of the characters from the past that will return in Season 7?
  • Wait – is that Sookie lying lifelessly on the ground???
  • Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) is still not happy with Bill. It seems Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) is trying to make amends though with her promising Adilyn (Bailey Noble) not to hurt her again.
  • OMG! There’s finally a flash of Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) – is she happy, sad, relieved, mad? You can’t really tell since it’s all the same to her. Speaking of, is that her standing in front of some flames…
  • Is that a katana?
  • And is Violet (Karolina Wydra) finally letting Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) ravish her?
  • Sookie is begging ‘No, No, No!‘ There is blood on her too – who is dying in her arms?
  • Is that a pit of dead people Sookie, Jason, Andy, Sam (Sam Trammell) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) are standing over?
  • There is still no mention or sighting of Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) in this clip – or did I miss it?

Well, that’s a lot of consume in a minute and a half – why not watch the whole clip… over and over again, and then let me know what else I missed by commenting below!

SPOILER ALERT: Synopsis’ of True Blood Season 7 Leaked!

Episode 1 and 2 Show the Hunt for Eric Northman Continues:

HBO's True Blood - Promo PosterFans of HBO’s True Blood are eager for the return of its final season on June 22nd 2014. It seems, with all the promotional items already on offer, there is one person who is glaringly absent: Eric Northman (played by Alexander Skarsgard).

The last episode of Season 6 saw the viking vampire going up in flames. Since then we have heard nothing in relation to whether or not he survives this inferno, other than showrunner Brian Buckner assuring us that he will be back for True Blood Season 7 – although he did not elaborate in what form or capacity he will be returning.

Now SpoilerTV has leaked the synopsis’ for both Episode 1 and 2 of Season 7. You can view the details below:

SpoilerTV leaks information on HBO's True Blood Season 7, Episode 1 and 2

So few words, so much that can be taken from them!

We now have a couple of episode titles we didn’t previously have as well as confirmation that True Blood Season 7 will indeed pick up from where it ended in Season 6. However, the particularly juicy piece of information comes in the second episode when it appears we will see an episode dedicated to Pam (played by Kristin Bauer van Straten) searching for her maker, Eric Northman.

Will she find him?

Considering the first episode is committed to the attack by Hep V infected vampires (and probably we can assume this will directly involve plenty of air time spent at Bellefleurs), it would imply a certain amount of time passing. Add this to the fact that there was already a time jump from Eric bursting into flames and the attack by Hep V invected vamps, it is possible that someone else has already rescued Eric from his extreme suntan. Who could it be? And in what condition will he be in?
