Kristin Bauer Shows Off Her Art Pieces In A Gallery Showing!

kristin-2We all watch Kristin Bauer portray the witty Pam on True Blood. Well guess what else Kristin Bauer spends her time doing……….painting. Who knew! Well yes True Blood fans, Kristin is an accomplished artist as well. She began drawing long before she ever knocked on Hollywood’s door. Art was an escape for Kristin but she put her gift on the back burner when tinsel town came calling. One very stressful year Kristin found the need for that solace once again and went back to her art. One of Kristin’s friends, Peter Falk (another art lover), told her about an art school in Los Angeles. Kristin signed up and has been creating beautiful pieces of work ever since! Kristin has a representational style to her work which allows you to see her relationship with her pieces. She does landscapes, still life work, and portraits. The piece you see below is titled “In a Perfect World” and is from her show of flowers and landscapes she called “Sunlight and Shadows“. Kristin’s work is going to be featured Saturday, September 26th at Anthony’s Framing and Gallery in San Marino, California. She will be featured alongside another artist, Kevin Brennan. The show is entitled “Romance of the Rubble“. We certainly wish Kristin the best of luck with this show and are extremely excited to get to see another side of this multi-talented lady!

o m g, i knew that Kristin was not only beautiful & normally talented, as in acting; but then i saw the picture that she drew of Alexander Scaarsgaard as a James Dean wanna be…but this painting is phenominal!  i would have NEVER guessed that this wasn’t a picture from a camera it’s so lifelike!! 🙂

Bill Eric why choose?

Kristen is a gifted artist! I wish I could see more of her work (in person). Unfortunately I am not local.
