Bitten 2Massive Events has announced its second annual UK True Blood convention, Bitten 2. Last year hundreds of fans travelled to Northampton in the UK to participate in the event, some from as far away as Australia.

Previously, the event involved meeting the stars, Q & A sessions, photo opportunities as well as plenty of people roleplaying their fave characters. This year looks set to be just as fun!

The first confirmed True Blood cast member is Mehcad Brooks, who played Benedict “Eggs” Talley in Season 2, but there should be plenty more to follow, if last year is anything to go by.

Tickets and event information are available now and can be found here. Prices are as follows:

Standard Adult Programme at £78
Silver Programme at £135 – Limited to 150!
Gold Programme at £195 – Limited to 150!

The event is being held at the Park Inn hotel in Northampton from Friday August 5th to Sunday August 7th, 2011.

So if you are in the area, be sure to get yourself a ticket before they all sell out!

We all know that the True Blood obsession extends beyond the US. Come August, the United Kingdom will get its very own True Blood convention: Bitten, presented by Massive Events. From August 6-8, 2010, fans will gather together at the Park Inn in Northampton, England, and they will even be joined by a few members of the cast!

Sam Trammell (Sam) and Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam) announced their plans to attend months ago, and now Todd Lowe (Terry) and Jim Parrack (Hoyt) will be featured guests, too. Here’s what the 3 days will include:

  • Opening and closing ceremonies
  • Exclusive wine reception
  • Autograph sessions
  • Professional photo-shoot sessions
  • 2 themed parties
  • 1 Sunday night “chill out” party
  • Guest talks and panels
  • Souvenir programme
  • Dealers room
  • And much more!!

    Get Bitten at the True Blood Convention in the UK

    British fans of the popular HBO series, “True Blood,” will finally have their thirst for blood quenched in the form of a “True Blood” convention. Vampires and shape-shifters alike are taking a break from the steamy heat of Bon Temps this summer to meet their devoted fans in the UK. So get ready all of you bloody Brits – some of your favorite actors and actresses from “True Blood” arrive this August:

    Massive Events Presents:  Bitten

    When:  August 6th-8th, 2010
    Where:  Northhampton, England
    Venue:  The Park Inn

    Cost:
    Standard Pass  £78 ($120)
    Silver Pass         £135 ($209)
    Gold Pass           £195 ($302)

    All participants must be over the age of 16.

    The various passes will allow participants to attend events.  The level of pass will determine which events you can attend.  Events are being added daily, so make sure that you check the convention site to get the latest info.

    Bitten has also two confirmed guests for the convention:  our favorite bar owner and shape shifter Sam Merlotte, played by Sam Trammell, will be on hand as well as Fangtasia’s sexiest bouncer, vampire Pam, played by Kristin Bauer. Massive Events is also working to confirm more exciting guests from the show.

    Get BITTEN with the True Blood Love!

    True Blood is taking over the world! Fans seem to unite worldwide at all sorts of events, including various conventions, fan websites, etc, just to talk about how much they love the show and to praise the cast and crew involved in the production of True Blood. In fact, from August 6 – 8, 2010 True Blood fans in the UK are getting quite a treat! Massive Events is putting on a three day event called BITTEN, just for True Blood fans! Better yet, there are two True Blood cast members who are confirmed to be at this convention! Attendees will be treated to the company of Sam Trammell (shifter Sam Merlotte) and Kristin Bauer (vampire Pam) during the events taking place.

    On the BITTEN site, you can click through the links and see the current list of events and parties, though there is sure to be even more information available soon. So, if you’re in the UK and can afford to make the trip there (there are three levels of admission), take advantage and go have fun!
