Bill wakes up half way through her blog entry after he dreamed he had heard Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack). For all of us who watched Episode 8 of HBO’s vampire show last Sunday, we know Bill wasn’t dreaming, and Jessica confirms that for him. This leads to a discussion on love. Not only is Hoyt and Jess’s relationship touched upon, but the relationship between Bill and his human wife, Caroline.

True Blood’s Jessica Hamby: Social Media Baby Vamp or Zealot?

Find Out What Jessica Has to Say About Drinking Fairies:

Deborah Ann Woll stars as baby vampire Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 7In Episode 4 of the final season of True Blood we see Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) struggling with her 10 week abstinence from blood – her life force. She posts a blog about how the blood of Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) running through her veins feels so good on Baby Vamp -Jessica.com but about half way through her musings she is interrupted by Violet (Karolina Wydra) who asks her what she is doing on her laptop. When she finds out she is talking to her followers, Violet mocks her by asking,

“Do these shoes look good with my outfit? Does my boyfriend like my hair?”

Violet then pulls Jessica down a peg by comparing her blogging to the zealots in  the days of the Crusades.

“Religious zealots burned my village to the ground, killing every man woman and child that did not agree to accept their truth”.

Only to give her the ultimate compliment and say;

“…I never saw you as the leader type, Impressive.”

Violet goes on to caution Jessica to get her last words right, as they are very important for a leader. You can watch the full video below – make sure you watch to the very end for an unexpected ‘surprise’. Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!

True Blood Season 6: Deborah Ann Woll Drops Hints About Season Finale

Will Jessica Survive Episode 10?

Deborah Ann Woll stars as Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'Early on in HBO’s True Blood Season 6, we saw Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) ‘accidentally’ snacking on some tasty little fairy morsels. Of course, Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) aure was angry to discover most of his fairy babies dead, only being able to revive one of them.

Fast track down to Episode 9 of True Blood and Andy still hasn’t had a chance to catch up with Jessica and confront her about her killer instincts. This looks set to change in Episode 10, entitled Radioactive, since Deborah Ann Woll recently dropped this hint in an interview with TV Guide:

There’s still a lot of story to be told. Before the end of the season, we will see more of them. It’s not over.

Thanks to a some disturbing snippets within some True Blood promo videos released by HBO, we can see Andy fired up and getting ready to go on a rampage with a loaded weapon – will Jessica meet the true death? Deborah doesn’t seem to think so:

When I read about what I did to Andy’s daughters, my first thought was, ‘I don’t know how Jessica Hamby and Andy Bellefleur can be on the same show after something like that. One of them is going to have to go.’ I was 90 percent sure that prophecy at the beginning just meant that I was going to bite it.

Judging by that, it seems Jessica does in fact survive. But is Bon Temps big enough for Jessica Hamby and Andy Bellefleur? I guess we’ll find out in True Blood Season 7!

True Blood: Who will survive the Apocalypse?

Deborah Ann Woll Talks About Her Loss of Vampire Faith:

Deborah Ann Woll stars as Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'

HBO’s True Blood Season 6 has seen the great state of Louisiana declaring war on vampires, Tru Blood is almost gone, internment camps for the vamps, and our favourite cast of characters are going through some really trying times.

Bill (Stephen Moyer) has to work out a way to save his friends from the prophecy he has foreseen, and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) had all but given up on “life” after draining the three of the four fairy girls. TV Guide spoke with Deborah Ann Woll to get the scoop on what was coming up.

We have seen Jessica dealing with so much regret:

She’s suffered from self-hate and self-doubt all along, so this is just a confirmation of all those fears; those fears that she is a monster because of these dark urges that she has. She thinks she’s going to die, that’s what Bill foresaw. She understands that’s what’s going to happen. She’ll save as many of her friends as she can, but I don’t think she feels like she has to work too hard for herself because it’s not as bad if she doesn’t exist. That’s a pretty dark place for her to be.

We have been introduced to James (Luke Grimes) this season, a young and handsome suitor for Jessica that is not human like Hoyt (Jim Parrack) or Jason (Ryan Kwanten). It’s as though she is finally accepting of the vampire that she is and James is going to continue to be a part of that.

And along with that, letting go of some of the old lovers too like Jason Stackhouse who has come to save her in the internment camp putting himself at great risk:

She cares deeply for him and feels like she’s hurt him more than he ever deserved to be. That scene of her letting him go was like, “I’m not worth it. Get out of here.” We’ll see if they’re able to come out of this.

And finally what does Jessica think about the prophecy coming true?

She doesn’t want to take any active steps towards saving herself, but she doesn’t feel that her friends deserve to die and that anybody should die risking themselves for her. She’s of the mindset that she will help people out to the extent that it saves vampire kind, but she’s trying to come to terms that it may not save her in the end.

So, do you think Jessica will survive?

True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll on Season 6 “Bigger, More Focused” Story Lines

Deborah Ann Woll on True Blood Season 6

True Blood is back and Season 6 is bigger and better than ever! Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Jessica Hamby, Bill Compton’s(Stephen Moyer) progeny. Jessica was turned into a vampire at the age of 17, so much of the fun with her character is burgeoning adolescence and the challenges of growing up.  Learning and controlling her vampire powers is difficult for Jess, and failed relationships with Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) have been making her mature even faster.

Deborah Ann Woll shares some of what’s coming up in Season 6:

“I’ve noticed this season we’re kind of gathering into our story lines. I work with a lot more people this year. The story lines are bigger, more focused, where more people are focused on the same plot”.

Woll also comments on the evolution of Jessica, and teases what she will be struggling with in Season 6:

“Even though she’ll be 17 forever, time is what matures us. I like to think of Jessica as irrepressible, that you can’t really get her down. These terrible things happen, she does terrible things, she feels horrible about them, but somehow she’s able to rally her spirits and start again. I find that to be a really admirable quality. I think [in] this season that comes off in a big way. She’s gonna be really tested to see if she is mature enough to pick up the pieces and start again because every season she seems to be alone and looking for someone to be there for her and we’ll see who that is”.

Woll describes what it’s like to work with Ryan Kwanten, the hot Australian actor who portrays Jason Stackhouse on the show. Kwanten has become a fan favorite, making the bumbling, dimwitted, man-child Jason likeable, and even loveable. Woll is very complimentary on her co-star:

“[Ryan] is so excellent and he’s fun to hang out with as well. These are long days and 40 percent of them is just waiting around and it’s nice to have someone who is interesting and fun to talk to. He’s a smart, kind man”.

Another eagerly anticipated aspect of True Blood is the “baby-vamp-Jessica” vlog, which stars Woll. The vlogs, a sort of “video diary”, captures Jessica’s inner musings and daily struggles of living and learning to be a vampire. It is a stand-alone feature on HBO, but serves to deepen the character of Jessica outside of the show. Woll shares that the vlogs will be part of season 6:

“We will continue the vlogs into season 6. Those are really crazy shoots because we shoot them all in one day, so I do ten costume changes and 15 pages of words, so we shoot them all in one day. But they will be airing”.

Woll is sure to be vamping on screen in season 6. Who will be that “someone” to help Jessica pick up the pieces this time?

True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll on Jessica’s Season Six Struggle

Jessica Faces the World…Alone?

Deborah Ann Woll stars as Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 6

There’s no denying that the fierce feisty redhead has had her share of troubles throughout the True Blood seasons from falling out of love with Hoyt (Jim Parrack) to Jason’s (Ryan Kwanten) recent rejection. To top it all off, HBO’s True Blood Season 6 begins with her delving into the mysterious and possibly dangerous world of Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) new nature.

Actress Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) commented on Jessica’s current situation:

“Jess is terrified, absolutely out-of-her-mind terrified. He’s the last tether for her. She doesn’t have Hoyt. She doesn’t have Jason anymore. It’s really scary to think that the one person she used to rely on is in this internal battle.”

Even with the high emotional stakes, the actress acknowledges that Jessica is hard to bring down. Fans can certainly agree after witnessing her accidentally kill a truck-driver in an early season and still keep her head on relatively straight despite having remorse.

Woll compliments her character’s determined spirit:

“I find that to be a really admirable quality. I think [in] this season that comes off in a big way. She’s gonna be really tested to see if she is mature enough to pick up the pieces and start again because every season she seems to be alone and looking for someone to be there for her and we’ll see who it is.”

Who could it possibly be? Sundays can never come quickly enough!
