Could Bad Vamp Lorena Krasiki Do Something Good?

Mariana Klaveno as LorenaTrue Blood actress Mariana Klaveno (Lorena Krasiki) will attend the Inaugural Clean the World Gala to be held Saturday, November 5, at The Peabody in Orlando, Florida. Other attendees include Stan Van Gundy (Orlando Magic head coach) and Thomas McClary (one of the original founders of The Commodores). True Blood’s Lorena Krasiki Lives On

October 17, 2011

Bill’s Maker Makes the Top Ten List of Crazy Exes:

Crazy Lorena Krasiki in Season 3 of True Blood

When remembering Bill Compton‘s maker Lorena Krasiki, be it fondly or otherwise, one word comes to mind: crazy. There’s little evidence to argue otherwise. Perhaps she was just madly in love with Bill. She still needed to be fitted for her own, vampire proof straitjacket. Instead she’s number 8 on “The 10 Hottest Crazy Exes From Movies And TV” on Complex.com.

Lorena has had some of the most memorable scenes during her time on the show, including the much talked about twisted sex scene between her and Bill. My personal favorite memory of her involves a plasma screen television. Even during her happier times, Lorena had a twisted sense of enjoyment. In season 2 we saw a flashback of her and Bill’s more interesting antics in which they have some of the bloodiest sex on the show.

Whether you love Lorena or hate her for getting in between Sookie and Bill, there’s no denying she was very entertaining. What are some of your favorite Lorena moments? Let us know!

A Little Birdie Told Me: True Blood Cast Members Attend Spooky Empire!

October 15, 2011

Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer, and Mariana Klaveno Attend Florida Convention:

Truebies, I had the pleasure of attending Spooky Empire on October 7-9, 2011 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. At the convention there were many actors, authors, and people in the music business. The weekend consisted of Q&As, Photo Ops, autograph sessions, parties where you could mingle with the stars, movies, seminars, and a zombie walk. Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Kristin Bauer (Pam de Beaufort), and Mariana Klaveno (Lorena Krasiki) were among the attendees. I spoke with them while getting their autographs, they were very nice and personable. I had met Sam and Kristin at a previous convention. I asked Sam how his new babies were, and he said:

“They are doing great, they are 8 weeks now.”

Mariana was very sweet, I told her she was great on the show. Kristin is nothing like Pam on the show she is really sweet and nice, she was that way both times we met. If you want to get more information about Spooky Empire please visit the website here.

Video: True Blood’s Top Five Death Scenes

July 1, 2011

When True Blood Gets Bloody:

Russell Edgington with Talbot in a jarTrue Blood = vampires. And vampires equal two things: blood and death. HBO certainly delivers on both counts, that’s for sure! Fear Net have compiled a list of their favorite deaths in the TV series. How many of them are your faves too?

Franklin

You actually have two fairly awesome deaths to pick from here. The first involving a medieval mace and Tara going equally medieval on his head, the second is actually his ‘true’ death though. This one involves Jason shooting him with a wooden bullet. Maybe not as visually gory, but certainly more effective in the long run.

Lorena

Let’s face it, we were all hoping for Lorena to finally kick the bucket. This must have put some amount of pressure on Alan Ball to make sure her death was worthy of our hate for the character. I think it certainly matched up. Watching Sookie having to restrain herself so that she only staked Lorena, and not her boyfriend too, was certainly something special.

News Broadcaster

Was this not the best way to end an episode ever? We never even saw it coming. Sure, we knew Russell was a little bit crazy, but never in our wildest dreams did we see this curve ball. Russell then proceeded to use the presenter’s innards as a prop for his speech.

Talbot

Talbot could possibly be the sexiest death ever, since he was involved in an intimate moment with Eric Northman at the time. His is an interesting case though, if you follow the logic from Franklin’s deaths. Technically speaking, you could say Talbot was killed three times over. Once by Eric, then Russell reenacted this staking with a Talbot look-alike, and finally, when Sookie put him (with maniacal glee, I might add) into the garbage disposal.

The Magister

This was another death we were glad to see. Except we almost didn’t get it. Just when we thought he was safe, though, Russell lopped off his head! Yet another episode cliffhanger involving Russell killing someone.

Now if you can’t remember all the characters who we have lost during all the seasons of True Blood, here is a memoriam video put together by HBO, to refresh your memory.
