The True Blood Season 2 promo video featuring Bob Dylan‘s new song “Beyond Here Lies Nothin’,”has been seen by many but now HBO has released the new extended version combining many of the clips we have seen and some new ones. The countdown is getting closer for the premiere on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 9PM/ET on HBO and all True Blood fans can hardly wait.

I was wondering the same thing about those scratches. Maybe Maryann infected him at one point in the past or will infect him. I can’t wait to find out. LOL

I want to know what’s the deal with the scratches on Sam’s arm. He’s holding his arm in this video and he’s got scratches on the same arm in the new poster.

I was actually wondering about those as well. I was guessing they are clawmarks, Maryanne got a bit too excited maybe? Then they could also be clawmarks from his were or shifter buddies…
It doesn’t look very natural when Sam is just keeping his hand under his shirt(over his heart?). Maybe they just ran out of logical places to put blood upon as they wanted the posters to look different! I would have rather had blood smeared over his face like in the promo.
