True Blood Season 3 Premiere a Big Hit

The season 3 premiere of True Blood was a huge hit according the latest ratings that just came out today. On Sunday night HBO‘s True Blood averaged 5.1 million viewers which is a increase of 38% from Season 2‘s premiere viewership. The 11:00 pm telecast brought in a averaged of 1.3 million additional viewers with a total of 6.4 million viewers in all. Very impressive results for a premium cable channel considering the NBA finals and the Tony Awards were also on.  Looks like True Blood is off to a great start!

Hi everyone! It absolutely was a huge hit for HBO. The numbers only represent the beginnig. There is also the buzz it has created. Wow!
I agree with you Jaxx. I have turned many people between my two jobs and when we work together the talk is all admiration mixed with speculation.
Rutina was right when she said in an interview that everyone hits the ground running.

Congratulations to HBO, Alan Ball, the writers, crew and our brilliant amazing cast who have made us fall in love with them.

It Certainly Was!! I can’t rememeber the last time I was SO Psyched to watch a season premiere of a Tv show!! I thought it was just Awesome! It will be quite interesting to follow the storylines for this new season! I know that some people said there were too many side stories But I liked That! Sookie & Eric

I like the Sam storyline! Sam is 1 of My Favorite characters on the show! Tara,Lettie Mae and Laffayette Wow!
I did feel bad for Bill! Looks like he’s gonna go through a lot before he gets back to Sookie….Or Will he??
Looking forward to her introduction to the Were “scene” and her attraction to Alcide! Whoa!!

Everyone is catching on. Just in my office alone, about 1/3 of the people watch TB and others are asking about it. Great cast and looking forward to seeing what S3 has in store for us.
