Micheal Ausiello from EW.com presents the photo that Entertainment Weekly published in its latest issue featuring Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) in a scene where they are on the hunt to find Bill. What is interesting about this post are some of the comments that Alan Ball makes regarding the interaction between Sookie and Alcide and Joe‘s upcoming scenes in the show.
As Alan states there is definitely going to be some sexual energy occurring between Sookie and Alcide. Both are not looking for romance but due to the circumstances that they are placed in “it’s hard not to bond on a deeper level” according to Alan.
As Alan explains it is probably not too hard for Sookie to develop an attraction to Alcide considering his physique.
“The first shirtless scene [Joe] had I was like, “Who has those abs?” Ball recalls. “He’s in crazy peak physical condition. He’s eating nothing but pure protein. And of course, this being True Blood, he’s already shot his first naked scene. Hello, werewolves when they shift — no clothes!”
Another reason to add to the growing anticipation for the return of season 3 of True Blood on June 13, 2010.

I’m all for Eric he is my favorite! I was a little disapointed AB twisted the scene where Long Shadow attacks Sookie. In the book Eric saves her, not Bill…In the show they make Eric out to be a huge doucher…when in my book Bill is the douche! I <3 Eric(Alex)! 😀
