Here is another True Blood season 3 poster from HBO released exclusively to AOL TV which takes a funny look at shapeshifters who may be spend alot of time living in a zoo. Very interesting concept when you think about it. If shapeshifters don’t have a place to stay they could always hang out at the zoo for free food and shelter. @Barbara E – I think that IS the point of these posters and the general promo campaign, though. If you take a look at all the posters, thus far, it’s not hard to see that they’re playfully dancing around certain elements of the show.
Just look at the first Minisode as well – it’s along the same lines with all the weirdos dancing in Fangtasia.
How is the public to know which of the animals are shape-shifters and which are not? And why did they choose flamingos as the animals? How many shape-shifters are going to choose that animal? LOL
I think all 6 posters are well beneath supposedly experienced marketers/advertisers. I mean, they are cute … worthy of a good smirk or chuckles. I like what they are trying to do. Very different in normal advertising. But they are just falling short of actually delivering on the concept.

I like the posters. I think each one has a hidden meaning to it relevant to S3, especially the group poster. Lots of things going on in that one.
