HBO has started including various promo ads on their network to get the buzz going for season 3 of True Blood. This video is a take on the very first promo that HBO presented to started promoting season 3 with their “we’re in production”. In this video they replaced the labels of TruBlood with the “Missing Bill Compton” poster as the label.

HBO’s advertising execs are right on the mark.
I don’t know about anywhere else in the world, but in the US we put pictures of missing children on milk cartons for mass marketing distribution in hopes of finding them. Brilliant twist.

I don’t know why but this promo made me laugh my ass off. maybe it was the picture of Bill on the Bottle. But i love this very creative idea!
