Charlaine Harris attended the Anhinga Writer’s Conference in Gainsville, Florida on July 30, 2009 where she spoke in depth about her start as a writer; the Sookie Stackhouse series; Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood; and her other series including the Harper Connely, Aurora Teagarden and the Lily Bard books.
