From Bon Temps to a Decimated Earth:
In Season 7 of HBO’s True Blood we saw Adina Porter (who played Lettie May Thornton) lose her daughter, Tara (Rutina Wesley) to a vampire attack. While this was a horrific occurrence, it seems her next TV role will include a whole lot more devastation ahead. TV Line recently announced that Adina would be joining the Season 2 cast for CW’s The 100. This series tells the story of 100 people sent back to earth 97 years after a nuclear war. The plan is that these people will hopefully repopulate the earth. However, when the 100 chosen are juvenile delinquents, it turns out to be not the most pleasant of situations for many of these ‘grounders’.
According to TV Line, Adina will be playing a:
…“regal and experienced” Grounder warrior named Indra.
It will be very interesting to see if Adina’s character, Indra, turns out to be a friend or foe?
