Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) star in HBO's True Blood Season 7 Episode 9 (entitled 'Love is to Die')Last week, we saw HBO’s True Blood pipped at the post by a shark documentary. Not so this week for Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die)! Once more, True Blood Season 7 has won it’s time slot on the night. It maintained the same amount of viewers in the coveted 18 – 49 age bracket as last week in it’s premiere screening, but overall, viewers grew a little on last week’s performance. True Blood Season 7 Spoilers: Goodbyes, Weird Sex & Love Triangles

Could an Original Cast Member Die in Episode 9 of HBO’s True Blood ?

Tara Buck stars as Ginger in HBO's True Blood Season 7It seems Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) will say a final goodbye to yet another original cast member of HBO’s True Blood! But will they die? It seems the devil is in the fine print of what TVGuide had to say about the upcoming episode recently:

With only two episodes to go, there are a lot of narrative threads to tie up, including the issue of Bill [Compton]’s mortality. I will only say this: At least one original cast member will say goodbye for good this week. In possibly related news, a longstanding love triangle will be resolved and you’ll see one of the show’s weirdest — and funniest — sex scenes between a long-unrequited pair.

How interesting is that news? With the admission of a long term love triangle also being resolved, one could assume that with Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) death, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) finally chooses Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).  Consolation prize anyone? However, there is another love triangle going on at the moment – that of Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack), Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Perhaps TVGuide are referring to that triangle instead? Maybe Jess and Hoyt get back together and Jessica decides to move to Alaska to be with him? After all, it doesn’t specifically say the cast member will die.

And what of that sex scene, huh? Who do we know on True Blood that is part of an ‘unrequited pair’? Could it be Sookie and Eric? Probably not, since they have been intimate before. But it sure doesn’t leave many other options. Perhaps Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Keith (Riley Smith)? Especially since TVLine had this spoiler to announce:

Not everyone will get a happy ending on True Blood… but I think it’s safe to say that Arlene and Keith will be among the lucky few. Though we’re not going to get another pool table scene, this Sunday’s episode does show the effect Arlene’s relationship with Keith is having on her. (Spoiler Alert: She’s a very happy woman.)

But they haven’t been an item for very long, and many wouldn’t even really consider them as such. Oh, hang on a minute – what about Ginger (Tara Buck) and Eric? Now that would potentially be hilarious and weird!

Arlene Offers Sookie Some Advice:

Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood Season 7 Episode 9 (entitled 'Love is to Die') Here’s the penultimate sneak peek #2 clip of HBO’s True Blood ever! In Episode 9 (ominously entitled Love is to Die) of True Blood Season 7, we find Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) deep in conversation at Bellefleur’s (formerly known as Merlotte’s) about loss, grief and how to move on. It seems Sookie has admitted that she never fully committed to her relationship with Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) because of the feelings she still had for vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).

The question is though, is Sookie and Arlene having this chat because Bill has already succumbed to Hep-V?

Synopsis:

Sookie Stackhouse retreats in confusion. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) makes a choice. Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) exercises uncharacteristic restraint, while Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) faces a dilemma after being caught in a lie.

Bill Remains Resolute in His Decision:

Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) says no in HBO's True Blood Season 7 Episode 9 (entitled 'Love is to Die')Well it appears Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) can be as stubborn as a mule when it comes to deciding when he will die. After refusing to take a sip of Sarah Newlin’s (Anna Camp) restorative blood at the end of Episode 8 (entitled Almost Home), it seems Bill will be sticking to his guns in Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) of HBO’s True Blood Season 7.

As for the others still left in Bon Temps, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll), Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) and Bridgette all seem to have issues to sort out yet. Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is seen flying off with what appears to be Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) is all bound up again.

Will Bill really meet the true death? Let us know what you think will happen in the penultimate episode of True Blood by commenting below!

True Blood Season 7: Episode 9 Synopsis Released

Episode #79: “Love Is to Die”:

Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood Season 7With only three short episodes left, here’s what we know of the penultimate episode of HBO’s True Blood. Episode 9 is entitled Love is to Die and the synopsis reads:

Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) retreats in confusion. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) makes a choice. Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) exercises uncharacteristic restraint, while Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) faces a dilemma after being caught in a lie.

Written by Brian Buckner; directed by Howard Deutch.

It seems Sookie may get rejected by someone. Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) perhaps? Finally Sam decides whether to stay in Bon Temps as the Mayor of Crazy or leave with the mother of his unborn child, Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell). Jason seems to be nipping that “just because Hoyt (Jim Parrack) has it, doesn’t mean I should too” trait right in the bud. And, as for Eric getting caught in a lie – your guess is as good as mine as to which lie that might be!

True Blood’s Michael McMillian Says Farewell to Steve Newlin

Michael McMillian Talks about the Demise of Steve Newlin:

True Blood's Michael McMillian

In a recent interview with Vulture.com, HBO‘s True Blood Michael McMillian(Steve Newlin) reveals his feelings on the departure of Steve Newlin.  In Episode 9 of True Blood Steve Newlin meets the sun at the hands of a VERY pissed off Eric.  Check out some of my favourite questions here!

Do you think he was gay, or bisexual? Because there must have been something between him and Sarah at one point.
Yeah, well, Anna Camp and I used to talk about it, and we still do. We think that they still had a bit of a kinky sex life there for a while. I think they married young, and they were both virgins when they got married, and I think she was just trying to keep Steve happy for a long time. I think there was probably some intense dom/sub play going on in the bedroom. I think Sarah was willing to perform certain acts for Steve to keep her husband happy.”

Did you see this coming for Steve? How much advance warning did you get?
Steve was really digging himself into a hole this season. Steve Newlin is the Jabba the Hutt of the True Blood universe. He has a very important place in the mythology, but he’s not going to help Luke Skywalker blow up the Death Star, you know? And especially seeing how the story was going, and Steve taking his place as a villain again and causing so much damage? If you think about it, Luna died because Steve and Russell kidnapped Emma. Pam was outted as Eric’s progeny because of him. Nora dies because of him. And he just wasn’t going to make it through. But Steve really dies at the hands of both Eric and Sarah.”

Who was Steve’s maker? He didn’t know her name …
I’d love to answer the question, but the truth is, I don’t know! And I’m not sure if the show is ever going to answer it or not. At one point, we were going to find out last season, and it was written out in the script, but they scratched it out.”

True Blood Quickie: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 “Life Matters” Recap

The vampires gets high in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'Can you believe we only have one more episode of HBO’s True Blood left?!

Neither can I.

So what did you think of True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled Life Matters? Personally, this was my favourite episode of the Season! In fact, I would probably rank it somewhere in the top 5 across the ENTIRE series. To me, this episode was less about how much life matters, and how much more family matters.

And what about Steven Newlin, hey? Even though I HATED him the most in the last episode, I am actually really sad to see him go.

This is what went down:

  • So Billith (Stephen Moyer) is pissy with Sookie (Anna Paquin) for not handing over Warlow (Robert Kazinsky). Sookie reminds him that Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) now has more fairy blood in him than Warlow – seriously Billith, did you lose your brain when you became all ‘Look at me, I’m a god’? While Billith is trying to get his brain around this concept, Sookie zaps his ass right out of Fairyland!
  • Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) goes on a rampage in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'Speaking of Eric, he’s on a rampage – and it is AWESOME! Billith spends the whole season worrying about how to save his vampire friends. Eric? He’s a man of action! In all of five minutes he’s managed to drain Warlow AND turn the security outside Vamp Camp into a bloody soup. *high five Eric*
  • Warlow says he fine – but I don’t think he is…
  • While all the crazy Vamp Camp stuff is going on, we have Terry’s (Todd Lowe) funeral occurring in Bon Temps. We get a whole heap of flashbacks (Terry gets a job) and blasts from the past (Jane Bodehouse sobers up and Maxine Fortenberry STILL isn’t happy with her son’s choice in women) mixed in with plenty of tears. (I dare you not to cry when Big John sings.) It’s a good funeral and a poignant send off for a gentle character that struggled so much with his inner demons.
  • Back at Vamp Camp Eric is ripping the junk off Dr. Overlark (John Fleck) and leaving to die within sight of his crown jewels. Just when you think this is the most eye-watering scene ever in True Blood history, Billith arrives (always just one step behind Eric) and stomps on the man’s head
  • Speaking of vampires getting their revenge on their captors, Dr. Finn (Pruitt Taylor Vince) gets to brag about his conquest with Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), but then gets killed by her. Rule learned here: Always, always, be nice to vampires
  • Eric finds Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) while he is releasing everyone from gen pop. Jason is thankful for the blood healing Eric gives him, but it looks like we will get to witness Jason questioning his sexuality again this season
  • By the way, did anyone notice the lack of fangs after Eric bit his arm open for Jason?Anna Camp stars as Sarah Newlin in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'
  • Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is excellent at playing dead to escape the vampires. Thanks to this, she manages to get up on the roof of Vamp Camp and manually opens the roof to the white room – luckily Bill has finally worked out that he needs to let all the vampires trapped in there feed off him and none of them actually fry
  • All except Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian). Well, technically, Billith is happy to give him his blood, but the other vamps pull rank and it is time for Steve to meet the sun. Line of the night goes to Steve; ‘I love you Jason Stackhouse!’  while his deranged poor estranged wife, Sarah Newlin looks on.
  • That’s when Jason Stackhouse realises that she’s still alive and takes chase. It’s nice to see all that time spent playing football back in high school helps him bring her down! It’s a shame he can’t pull the trigger though and kill her. Guess we will be seeing more of Sarah Newlin in True Blood Season 7 then…
  • Lafayette (Nelsan Reynolds) gives the best funeral speeches. EVER!
  • So Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) finally works out that Billith is weak from blood loss and missing. She takes James (Luke Grimes) back to the white room to find him
  • Being near death, Billith is seeing Lilith’s (Jessica Clarke) bloody messengers again. This time they are telling him his time on earth is over! Luckily Jessica arrives at just the right time and she and James feed Billith back to health
  • Meanwhile, somewhere in Honolulu, a truck filled with Tru Blood is being stolen by vampiresGinger (Tara Buck) gets saved in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'
  • The mystery of ‘Where’s Ginger (Tara Buck)?’ has been solved: Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) was using her as a human blood cow. We get to hear her deliciously shrill shrieks for the rest of the episode as a result of her being released
  • Vampires go all ‘hippy lovechild‘ when they are high on fairy blood
  • True Blood has officially gone Team Twilight on us with day-walking vampires. This makes me a little uncomfortable…
  • Pam and Eric have a moment – right before Eric zooms off into the sky. He must have some unfinished work. Maybe in Honolulu? Guess we’ll have to wait until True Blood’s Season 6 Finale to find out!
Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) misses Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) already in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'

So what did you think of Life Matters? Are you excited about the finale? Have you baked Sookie’s gran’s pecan pie yet?

R.I.P to True Blood’s Steve Newlin

 How Will Sarah Newlin Cope?

RIP Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) from HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'

And so we come to the end of an era. Last night in HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled Life Matters, the (former) Reverend Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) finally met the sun. And is it just me, or are we all going to miss the spineless little turncoat?

While Steve got to meet the sun (which was a sweet iron due to his joy of making vampires meet the sun in Season 2), it was a bitter sweet moment. Steve was the character we all loved to hate after all. Michael McMilllian, however, was just pleased that he managed to make people both sad and happy with his death:

It’s a funny moment in the script. I was checking [Twitter] last night, of course, and I was actually surprised that people thought it was as funny as it was. That made me really happy. And I also got a lot of messages saying that people were sad to see Steve go. So if you can pull off a death that is both sad and hilarious, I think you’ve done your job okay.

As for that last line muttered: “I love you Jason Stackhouse!” That was entirely McMillian’s idea after he was disappointed at there being no Steve and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) action in True Blood’s Season 6.

Considering the fact that Michael McMillian has actually been with True Blood since Season 1, Entertainment Weekly wanted to know if there was any special send-off – especially from Alexander Skarsgard:

He gave me a very personal sendoff in the gag reel, which nobody but cast and crew saw. It was somewhat inappropriate and somewhat hilarious, but beyond that I really can’t describe it too much. [Laughs] There was a little skin involved. Yes.

What we wouldn’t give to see that gag reel, hey Trubies?!

Were you sad to see Steve Newlin die in True Blood Season 6? Or were you glad he’s finally dead? Let us know by commenting below.

VIDEO: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 Teaser – ‘Scent of a Werewolf’

Terry Bellefleur’s Funeral Brings Bon Temps Together:

Joe Manganiello stars as Alcide Herveaux in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'In this video teaser of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters), we find the inhabitants of Bon Temps coming together for Terry Bellefleur’s (Todd Lowe) funeral.

Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) arrives and still wearing that black dress she wore to Fairyland with Billith (Stephen Moyer). So she must make it back okay. I wonder how Billith and Warlow (Robert Kazinsky) fared though?

She does appear to be a little late to the funeral though and has to take a seat next to Jane Bodehouse (Patricia Bethune) and Maxine Fortenberry (Dale Raoul). Sookie isn’ t seated for long when Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) turns up, wanting to sit next to her. While Alcide impresses Jane and Maxine, Sookie isn’t as beguiled and announces she’s saving the seat next to her for her brother, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). But we all know Jason isn’t about to turn up any time soon!

VIDEO: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 Teaser – ‘Meeting Terry’ #FridayFlashback

True Blood Brings Us a Terry Bellefleur Flashback:

Chris Bauer (Andy Bellefleur) and Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) look for Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe) in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'HBO is giving us plenty of promo videos for True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters) this week!  And this one comes in the form of a flashback.

Episode 9 of True Blood will bring the residents of Bon Temps together for the funeral of the much loved Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe). It seems that there might be a little reminiscing involved as this video gives us a flashback to an early Terry Bellefleur.

We find Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammel) (from the newly opened Merlotte’s bar) with Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) and a case of Terry’s favorite beer, Raging Bitch. They are out in the middle of nowhere and appear to be trying to lure Terry out of the wilderness. Eventually a camouflaged Terry shows up, looking a lot more damaged than he was before Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) picked him up and bought him some measure of happiness.

VIDEO: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 ‘Prayer’ Teaser

Is Sarah Newlin Praying for True Blood?

With only two episodes left of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, fans are starting to get anxious about all their favorite vampires  now trapped in the room from Billith’s (Stephen Moyer) vision from earlier in Season 6. Will they all meet the sun?

In the latest video teaser of Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters), we find Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) praying – but for who or what, is unclear. Is she praying for her own safety perhaps? After seeing what looks like Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) holding a gun to her head in the previous Episode 9 promo, then possibly she is indeed praying for her own salvation.

We also find snippets of that damn roof opening up over our True Blood vampires. Will they all die? Then  Jason Stackhouse is screaming and bodies are burning. If you slow that particular scene down, you can see a redhead cowering in the background – is that Jessica (Deborah Ann Wool)? Why isn’t she burning?

We also find Billith coming out of Fairyland – or is he being forcibly pushed out? Especially since we see a very brief moment of a very angry Warlow (Robert Kazinsky) – and is Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) tied up behind him? Finally, there is that flash of what appears to be Lilith (Jessica Clarke). Which leads fans to wonder ‘what’s that all about?’

So many questions. Only this Sunday will be able to answer them for us – #waitingSUCKS!

The Tension Rises With Only Two Episodes Left:

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) battle in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'Wow! Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun trubies? With only two episodes left of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, tensions are simmering and about to bubble over!

With the promo video for Episode 9, entitled Life Matters, we get to see a lot of stressed people – humans and vampires alike. Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) appears to be on  a mission to save his own, Billith (Stephen Moyer) is following suit albeit a little behind the Viking vampire.

We also get to see a lot of burning bodies – are they the vampires we love so much? It’s hard to see with all those flames licking at their faces.

We find a bloody-mouthed Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) – did she feed on someone? – begging for Billith to remember his soul. What is Billith doing that brings his soul and it’s well-being into question?

Finally, we end this clip with what appears to be Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) pulling a gun on a blond – is it Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp)? Will Jason pull the trigger?

Doesn’t waiting suck?!

True Blood Season 5 Episode 9 “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” Recap

Endings and New Beginnings

The new sheriff of Area 5 in HBO's True Blood

We start this episode with a news report on the burning of a Tru Blood factory and the vampires at Authority headquarters are celebrating – on a human no less! Although, lesser members, such as Molly are finding it hard just to open doors inside the place. It seems there is no escape for the likes of Molly and Eric. It is a wonder Eric is still alive when other vampires have died for lesser indiscretions. I’m certainly not complaining though, and I hope the plot that Eric and Molly are hatching doesn’t end badly.

Meanwhile, Sookie has hired Lafayette to try and track down the evil vision of Warlowe that appeared last episode in her bathroom. At first Lafayette has no luck, but then he makes contact with Sookie’s gran who has the message: ‘Look under the bed.’ She is also thankful for the ‘striptease fairies’ (gran’s quote). Hmm…wonder what she’ll find there?

Poor Jessica is having to deal with Kenya and the rest of the police department with the whole Hoyt situation. Seems she can’t find Hoyt, or feel him with her vamp blood bond either. I hope he’s going to be okay. Especially since the very next scene shows Hoyt being dragged – (hopefully) unconscious – through the dirt.

Sam and Luna are having that first ‘I love you’ conversation – except it’s occurring in the midst of an argument! It seems Luna is going to help Sam track down the supe-haters regardless of how injured she still is – that girl sure has spunk!

Arlene and Terry have a lot to discuss about what happen in Iraq between Terry, Patrick and the rest of the squad. Terry leaves in an attempt to save Arlene from any more danger. This backfires though when Patrick absonds Arlene at gunpoint when she arrives for work at Merlotte’s. Patrick convinces her to call her co-workers and tell them work is closed for the day.

Tara plans to stockpile Fangtasia’s store of Tru Blood for the personal use of herself and Pam. Pam quickly puts a stop to this. If there is no synthetic blood on tap at Fangtasia, then that only leaves the humans patrons on which they can quench their thirst. They plan to pretend to drink Tru Blood once the stock runs out and discretely feast on humans when no one is looking.

Eric tries to save Bill from himself and bring him back to the main-streaming side. Bill seems pretty convinced of Lilith’s doctrine since his vision of her though. Eric lets Bill in on his and Molly’s plan to escape using the stolen blood of Salome and Nora. I hope Bill really is on Eric’s side, otherwise this will probably end badly.

Sookie and Lafayette search a box of trinkets found under Sookie’s bed and come across not only a framed report card of Jason’s where he received his one and only B, but a news article announcing the fact that Sookie’s parents bodies were found by Bud Dearborn. Sookie finally has a lead to follow.

On www.keepamericahuman.com the supe-haters may have their faces covered with Obama masks, but that doesn’t stop Jason recognising a few. Of course, he also get confused over the use of the word ‘dragon’, thinking they mean the real ones. Andy, however, points out that the term was also used in the Klu Klux Clan. Although, assaulting supe-hater in custody yields no clues as to who this dragon may be.

Next we find Alcide who is remembering back to his childhood and just how important is is to be a wolf in a pack. Alcide is driving to find his father, who we later find passed out on a couch in a trailer. It turns out his father is also a no-hoping gambler. I hope Alcide doesn’t end up like this as a result of his being abjured from the pack.

Sookie goes to visit Bud Dearborn to ask him about her parents. Dearborn does own up to the fact that there were bites on her parents. At the time they attributed them to gators, but it seems Bud has more than a slight aversion to vampires. Sookie tries to read Bud’s mind by spilling her drink and then grabbing onto him. It turns out Bud doesn’t know of any vampires that go by the name Warlowe, but that point is moot once a lady (who is large and possibly fits the description Luna-Sam gave last week in the room they rescued Jess from) with a heavy skillet knocks poor Sookie out cold!

Andy is being harassed by reporters outside his headquarters. He shucks them off when he sights Sam and Luna though. After speaking to the shifters, he discovers they also scented pig poo along with the large lady. They want to help Andy, but he says no. It’s lucky they can change into other critters – can anyone say ‘fly on a wall’?

Andy and Jason discuss the implications of pig excrement and how that all ties into what has happened to Hoyt and the supe-haters. Eventually they work out, thanks to more video footage on www.keepamericahuman.com that Bud Dearborn is a member of this group. Time is ticking to save everyone now!

Speaking of pigs, Sookie wakes up and finds herself surrounded by them. She also locates Hoyt, who is still out cold and tied up in the next pen. Bud arrives and in a typical villian monologue fills us in on why he’s anti-supe. His girlfriend, Sweetie, arrives and we get a little insight into her past thanks to Sookie’s telepathy. We also discover that she is the dragon! After more talking, they make Sookie drink some drugged ginger ale.

Jason and Andy arrive – just in the knick of time. Except that they’re at Bud Dearborn’s house and not where Sookie is being held captive. After a bit of searching, they realise that Bud’s wife owned a pig farm and they are back on track. I hope they get there in time!

Terry and Patrick come head to head when Patrick lures him (with the help of a distraught Arlene) to Merlotte’s. They argue and each plead for their own lives. Patrick still has a gun to Arlene’s head, so we are not as sympathetic to him, but his words seem to be working on Terry who drops to his knees. Patrick lines up to shoot Terry and end the curse when Arlene stabs him in the neck. A scuffle breaks out and Arlene ends up with the gun.

Eric confronts Nora about her beliefs. Eric tries to turn Nora away from the beliefs of  Lilith. It would seem he is being true to Godric’s wishes by trying to persuade her to turn away from the Sanguinistas. Salome, on the other hand is in bed with Bill and they are feasting upon each other. Bill gets confused and sees Sookie instead of Salome. Is he really Sanguinista or not? He bites her anyway, although once he realises it is Salome he has bitten, he is contemplative of her blood and the freedom it can bring. Still we do not know which side Bill is on.

Sweetie and the rest of the supe-haters are making more damning videos in their Obama masks. They set the hungry pigs loose on Hoyt and Sookie. Luckily one of those pigs is Sam. (Who’s glad he ignored Andy now and became flies on the wall? I certainly am!) He rescues Sookie and a fight breaks out. Sweetie makes a run for it at the sight of Sam. The police arrive and all seems to be sorted. Bud will not admit defeat and is shot dead in the process. It’s touch and go for Hoyt as well, we hope he pulls through. Luna takes off after Sweetie. She manages to get a hold of the dragon and punches her repeatedly. That seems to sort out that storyline.

Terry has the gun on Patrick now. Both Patrick and Arlene are trying to tell Terry what to do. Before Terry can flip out completely, the ghost of the woman he shot in Iraq appears and Terry finally shoots Patrick. The ghost-woman is happy and releases the Ifrit who consumes the body of Patrick. Another storyline is neatly tied up.

A new storyline is introduced next. We can’t have so many ending without some juicy new drama. Pam finds a goth vampire sitting in Eric’s throne at Fangtasia. As if that insult isn’t bad enough, he is publicly feeding on a human. Pam tells him off but to no avail – it seems this is the new sheriff of Area 5, as decreed by the Authority! What Authority? He announces that public consumption of humans is now allowed. Who is this new vampire?

Russell and Steve make an appearance next. They are welcoming the new packmaster, JD. Russell offers his blood to the pack. All partake of it except for Martha, who is holding her granddaughter (in wolf form), Emma. Russell notices and when Martha vows never to drink from Russell, he steals Emma from her and gives the wolfling to Steve as a pet. Oh dear, Luna is going to be annoyed when she finds out!

In the last scene of this episode we find Eric, Nora and Molly together. It seems Nora did not change her mind and Eric has to sedate her (I wonder what they have to use in that cocktail?) Just as Eric is carrying Nora to the door to use her blood to open it, Bill arrives. Uh-oh, it appears that Bill is still a Sanguinista. When they open the door, Salome and an army are there and they arrest Eric and Molly!

Will this mean the final death for Eric and Molly? Let me know what you think in the comment below.
