Dana wrote in to Michael and asked;  How about a hot and juicy True Blood scoop on Sookie and Eric. Michael responded with an answer that is going to have True Blood fans anxiously waiting for Sunday night’s episode to air.  Michael stated, “Sookie will be planting her luscious lips all over Eric’s hard body in Sunday’s episode. Hot any juicy enough for you?”  Now we don’t know what Alan Ball has in store for our two vampires, Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard)  in regards to their relationship with Sookie (Anna Paquin) but, we do know that it is going to cause a rollercoaster ride of emotions for many.

Whether you are Team Bill or Team Eric, just remember that both actors are doing a marvelous job with their performances on True Blood.  Where the story line is going to go is anyone’s guess at this point in time. Remember this is Alan Ball‘s show and anything is possible.

No spoilers here. And no real book talk here. But if you do read the books, you may have a different opinion of Bill. Eric all the way!

Eric

Lol funny my name is eric and it’s ironic that i’m for Team bill, but someone should release some spoilers! Jeez, I want to know what happened in the books. I ordered them online and i’m going to start reading asap/

Val

Just saw episode 9 and I think it is far and away the best yet!!! What a powerful, sexy and uplifing experience! TrueBlood is the BEST show on television today!!!

i’m team ERIC, definitely… ok if sookie doesn’t become a vampire she can’t stay with one, or at least not for long, i suppose. so that means that she’s gonna end up with some kind of boring human…grrrr. not happy at all 🙁

Niki Lynn

And suddenly, all is well again…

Laura

Charlaine hasn’t said that. What she said was: “Sookie will never become a vampire. And a vampire can’t give her what she’s always thought she wanted; a regular marriage with children. But that doesn’t mean Sookie will end up with exactly what she wants. I see no reason why she couldn’t settle with one person.”

Niki Lynn

Yes. I would like to know when she said this also. Suddenly all my Eric/Sookie hopes have been dashed… 🙁

Niki Lynn

Hi. I know you’re not too keen on all of us “book readers” at the moment, but if you take into consideration the personality of Eric in both the book and the show, it’s entirely possible that Eric snuck into the bed while Sookie was knocked out/sleeping just to rile her up. It’s not beyond him and he has done it in the books, so don’t assume that we wish Sookie would betray Bill. We don’t. And there’s no reason to be rude about what us book readers HOPE will happen in the show because we know how much Eric’s personality evolves in the books. We simply wish that Alan Ball will continue along mirroring the books as much as possible. Bill does some pretty heinous things in the books, so IF Ball reveals these in the show, THEN we want to see the Sookie/Eric chemistry evolve. Believe me, it’s anything BUT Disgusting in the books.

AlexsLover

wait wait wait,im lost….when did Charlaine said that???

Teresa

I have read all the books to date, and if you notice, Bill has never completely left the picture. He is always right there, and she does seem to care about him still.
Also I hope Alan does differ from the books in the show because Charlene Harris has stated again and again that Sookie WILL NOT END UP WITH A VAMPIRE, I definitely want her life partner to be a vampire.

Dennis Johnston

I love Godric and Eric and Jessica. Sookies getting better by the episode. I liked Bill in the beginning ,but now……

Rebecca

Eric is older than Bill and I could never see Eric letting anyone turn him into a wimp.He has that Viking blood and they were never wimps.Eric knows what he wants and he will one way or another get it.

Rebecca

All I can say is I’m waiting on pins and needles for this episode.Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Bill/Sookie and it will start the beginning of Eric and Sookie.Oh heck you know what I’m trying to say.

Hi Charlie, I’m not flaming you and wouldn’t do that but, you do bring up a very interesting point. You state that “the books and show are only vaguely similar.” Correct for Charlaine Harris’s books are entitled the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series while Alan Ball’s SHOW is called True Blood. It is an adaptation that contains the essence and flavor of the books, not a re-enactment of them. Once again Charlaine is enjoying the series and is not complaining. She has stated this many times. Therefore, sit back, relax and enjoy the wild and crazy ride Alan Ball is taking us on. It doesn’t really matter what the destination is going to be just enjoy the journey he is taking us on.

Elizabeth

If Sookie is to do to Eric what you Team Eric people want her to do, then she is a JERK! Hopefully AB will have better taste. Yes, I have read the books and still find Bill the preferable hero.

Charlie

Well I’ve read all the books, and I watched the Seasons. And I for one feel like Alan Ball has ruined what Charlaine Harris created. And yall can flame me if you want, but its true. The books and show are only vaguely similiar. But what else could anyone expect. I’ve never seen a movie/show that respected a book the way it should be.

Everyone be sure to check out this review link. Someone who has seen I Will Rise Up episode. No real spoilers but you can definitely read between the lines as to what the reviewer is referring to.

Book is book, show is show. But thank goodness they do cross over and make connections and it looks like on Sunday, we will see that. Book lovers we will see some of what we have been waiting for the last two seasons. 2 more nights and 21 hours. Our “V” fix will be satisfied.

Go Team Eric.

shelby

you could be right kathy!

shelby

I totally agree with you AdoreBill. You said it perfectly! I love both the books and show and I am happy with the way Alan has been doing with the show. Both are great!

AdoreBill

Hi Charlie, but what you are referring to has NOT happened in the SHOW and we do not know what is going to happen in the SHOW. The Books are the BOOKS and the SHOW is the SHOW. Bill has not been a jerk in the SHOW therefore is irrelevant to the SHOW True Blood. Lets keep the two apart and work with the characters in the show and what has transpired in the show up to this point in time. The only person who knows what is going to happen next is Alan Ball since this is his show and he can do whatever he wants with Charlaine blessing (as she has mentioned this before). Yes I have read all the books after season 1 ended but the books and the show are two different mediums of entertainment. Enjoy the show without any preconceived notion because anything can happen.

marchi

ooooo…eric will get some!!

Charlie

Okay, well Im sorry but CAEdge, obviously you havent read the books so you have no idea what you’re talking about. BILL IS A JERK! Sorry, but thats a fact. And for all you Team Bill people you’re just gonna have to get over the fact that in Book 3 Sook and Bill break up for good. And that she screws around with many other people (including Eric). So the whole ” it’s DISGUSTING to think that Sookie would do something to hurt Bill and to betray her own heart.” comment is pathetic.

FangerCA

OMG! Sunday is my BDAY! I get some Sookie Eric action for that?! Thank you Alan Ball!

CAEdge

CRAP on a CRACKER, I may be SICK.

Sookie would not be in bed with Eric if she was in her RIGHT mind, so what the hell did BIG BLOND and BORING do to her?!

Book fans, you are operating with bias’ that are NOT based on the SHOWS characters… so flame me if you will, but it’s DISGUSTING to think that Sookie would do something to hurt Bill and to betray her own heart.

Risa

i am way too anxious for this weeks episode. i NEED to know what happened after the blast, and what is going on with Sookie and Eric. I am still for team Bill, but Eric is starting to rack up in the hotness points

Niki Lynn

I meant “they’re” not “their.” I was so excited my self-vocab checker malfunctioned.

Niki Lynn

I love both actors! I think their both awesome, but I’m Team Eric all the way!!! I really hope that these next scenes with Eric and Sookie mean that Alan Ball is going to go with the direction of the books! YAY!

cgpunker

I’m looking forward to this ep. It has alot to accomplish.
Plus, Skars said this was his favorite episode to film 😉

Kathy

crap! I did it again! Hard to do this during work! “earthy” hell you know what I mean! LOL

Al

God I hope she doesn’t turn Eric into a wimp too.

Kathy

“very earth” not “vert earthy” lol.

Kathy

Well, as much as I would love for them to get together now, though I don’t think there’s been enough between them yet to warrent it, I have a feeling he’s referring to some vert earthy bullet or bits of silver chain removal. I’m also one to believe the the spoilery bed shot is just *sigh* a dream.

April G

Thank you Alan Ball!!!! Thank you.

pbartteacher

OMG. What we have been waiting for, finally. Interesting choice of photos up above. Since we are talking about the Sookie/Eric story line. Go team. A new breath of fresh air to the series.

Jenn

OOOOHHHH MY GOSH!!! This will be a no “pee” break episode like last sunday. This show is so intense i will have to be placed on a 12 step program for withdrawel once this season ends to get me thru the next season. THIS SHOW BITES YOU FROM EVERY DIRECTION! I AM FOR TEAM ERIC!

chrissie

Awesome…Can’t wait for the next episode I’m so excited.

~Team Eric all the way!!!

Jane

Aha scoop scoop! XD I was just scowering the net for any bits of gossip about the next episode, just can’t help it hahaha.
I’m beginning to get annoyed by Bill this season, first season he was alright, but the only scenes I find him bearable to watch is when he is trying to help Jessica adjust.
Eric owns him big time, then again Godric owned Eric last episode, Allan Hyde, you are a legend sir 🙂
