True Blood Season 2: What Did You Think of Episode 10?

true-blood-episode-10HBO‘s broadcast of True Blood Episode 10, New World In My View, has left many talking this morning and we want to hear from you and what your thoughts were about the episode.  Bill and Sookie trying to save Tara was so tender and how they tried to defeat Maryann just brought up so many more questions.  What was funnier, Jason play God or Maxine Fortenberry play the Wii?  At the end when Bill swaggered into the Queen’s compound (and looking so fine) it left us wondering what information could the Queen possess that will help Bill defeat Maryann.  So much to think about and another week to wait to see what happens.  Alan Ball is doing a fantastic job building up the tension till the season finale, which we know will have us falling out of our chairs. What was up with only forty five minute episode? Still good just to short especially for finale three episodes.Otherwise eric and sookie very very hot i want more

Best scenes were the Bill and Sookie ones, especially the healing of Tara scene.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED BILL STRUTTING OVER THE BRIDGE ALONG WITH THE SONG PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND!!!

VAMPIRE BILL IS BACK!!!!!!!!

I dont like Sookie and Eric together…dont know why. I bet Eric turns out to be the good guy in the end..and Bill…hmmm. I love the scene with Maryann, Sookie and Bill. Especially the part where Sookie’s hand lights up on Maryann’s face. I actually love the Maryann storyline even though I want them to kill her (well get rid of here since she is immortal), it brings another element and mystery to the series…hey who said it ONLY had to be about vampires?

Best scene for me was how Sookie and Bill brought Tara back. (Tearjerker)

Jason is so cute and funny,…love him. He really showed that he can be useful. I like Sam, I hope he doesnt get killed it seems like that may be a possibility…however I think the writers want to keep as many of the original charaters alive as possible for season 3

Cant wait til nex week to see whats up with the Queen Vamp.

    Was definitely a tear-jerker, made me tear up big time. New aspect to Sookie’s character is something to look forward to.

    I am truly sick of the Maryann character. Kill her already.(immortals can be killed! Everything has an Achilles Heel)

Agree with almost all the fans jason and Hoyt’s mother were hysterical, I laughed till I cried. Eric is hot, but Bill still does it for me, I’ll take that dark haired, rough looking guy everytime over a pretty boy. Also loved that sexy strut of Bills going across the bridge into the queens house. Could watch that over and over again.

I never truly enjoyed the whole Maryann story line… it developed slowly and I’m definitely tired of it, I really hope the queen will wipe her out.
Sookie’s new glowing hand is very interesting… I wish they’d let her use her mind-reading more often.
…and please, more Eric… I don’t care if he’s naked or not, just have him around as much as possible 😀
Jessica should have bitten that annoying woman much sooner!

I loved this episode not as much as 9. I cried again when I saw Eric still crying. I loved that scene with Sookie. Jason made me laugh. I think Jason stole this episode. I also liked the part where Sookie did something weird with her hand to MaryAnn. I can’t wait til Sunday.

This episode is awesome, as always (except for episode 9)
The ending music, sound like something from the movie skeleton key…Which I think it’s awesome.

Awesome episode as always. Also too short as always, but this one was especially short.
In contrast to the somber feeling of last weeks episode, I did alot more laughing with this one. Brilliant writing Alan Ball. Make us cry then make us laugh.
Sweet beginning with Eric.
Jason has come into his own this season, and kept his pants on to boot. Mama Fortenberry, Holy Geez, what a riot. Thank Godric Bill had a Wii and on a giant screen. Got to love Vampire toys.
Maryann, Sookie and Bill, great exchange and a new mystery to unravel with Sookie.
Anyone notice Terry becomes very authoritative under Maryannes influence? The war thing, Baccus loves war and chaos.
Sweet Sam lives to shift another day, and nice bum.
Liking Andy more with every episode, I just miss…PIIIIIG!
Also wonderful how Bill and Sookie band together to exorcise Taras demon!
Why has Eric got Lafayette dealing V? Bill was not too happy, another mystery to unravel.
Only two more to go. What will we do when the seasons over? CRY and watch reruns. Thank God for season DVDs and DVR.

The episode was way too short for my tastes. I did love it though! Lots of things coming together. I loved watching everything that was going on in Dallas, but kept wondering what would happen when everyone went back to Bon Temps. Sam, Andy and Jason had me in stitches. Not a fan of Maryann (seriously who could be), so am going to enjoy seeing her vanquished! Very much looking forward to next week’s episode. The meeting between Eric and Jason looks like it will be priceless! Only two episodes remaining makes me a sad, sad panda, though.

This episode had me in giggles the whole time the way it just fell together. Jason, Jason, Jason… preteding to be a god, suting up for war, perking up with “there’s a new waitress at Merlottes”.

I think episode 10 was a wonderful showcase of Tara/Rutina like last week was of Eric/Alex. Kudos to her.

Thank goodness i recorded so i can watch again and will probably giggle some more.

I see comments on where is Eric? I think the writers are being smart in spreading the scenes among the whole cast.

Little too much of MaryAnn and I could do without the orgy scenes but it seems to be part of total story. Episode 10 ended too soon for me. I needed the extra 15 minutes we usually have to make it through the week. the relationship between Sookie and Eric is getting interesting. Can’t wait for Bon Temps to be cleaned up again and Merlottes gets back in business.

I felt cheated and thought it was terribly cruel that this week’s episode was so short. I was left wanting more, at least a few minutes more, especially since it is one of the last three episodes!!! Usually I am left wanting more, but I am equally as satisfied that I got a fair amount. I had dreams last night about Jessica biting Hoyt’s mom. I’m so worried this will ruin their relationship, and I really liked what they had going, it was good.

The beginning with Eric N Sookie wuz really Hotttt!It wuz a real intense episode! I wuz disappointed that it wuz cut short! Usually true blood is an hour N it felt like a 30 min episode!!! I sure hope next week is better!

I agree with Denise, only a couple minutes of Eric is not enough. I will be so glad when they are finished with the whole MaryAnn saga. This is supposed to be about vampires, not a maenad. And if this happens to town folk wherever MaryAnn goes how come NO ONE has ever heard of it before???? Does not make much sense to me. Seeing Eric undressed makes more sense.

My first thought was why the hell is this episode so short??? But other than that, it ranks right up there as my #2 favorite (following last week’s). Not enough Eric in this one for my taste, but what was served up was delicious. Jason as a god with tree branch antlers and Sam clad in only an apron… Wow.

I thought the episode was instense. I was worried about Sam and Tara the whole time. I am so glad that Bill and Sookie were able to save her. Jason was funny playing God. I was not happy that Eric got 2 min of airtime this week. That sucked. Watching Maxine was funny. I was so shocked when Jessica bite her. I wonder what is going to happened with that now. I was also shocked when Bill bite Maryann and he ended up getting sick. That sucked. I am in awe of what Sookie did to Maryann with the light from her hand. I can’t wait for next week
