True Blood Season 3 Spoilers: Revelations About Sookie, Eric, Sam and Plotlines

ltrue-blood-sookie-billAlan Ball and Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) revealed more details to TV Guide about what we can expect to see happen when True Blood returns for season 3.  Based on what they reveal it looks like it is going to be a very long and painful wait for True Blood fans as they will have to dwell on these spoilers. Let’s look at each of the spoilers one at a time to savor what they are willing to share with us now.  One thing is for certain it is going to be “a crazy season” according to Alan Ball and Season 3 will pick up right where it left off with Bill (Stephen Moyer) being kidnap and “things get weird really fast.”

As Alan has already mentioned in a previous post that someone is going to die and the fans will be happy to see this character bite the dust.  He also provides some more details about the plotline for season 3, more details regarding Sam and what is going to happen between Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).

Alan told TV Guide that season two‘s theme was about religions and beliefs that can make people do things they would not normally do. Season 3 is about finding one’s identity.  As Alan states:

“It seems to be that it’s about really embracing one’s identity.  This season is a lot about what it means to be who you are, or what you are.”

Which leads to Sookie‘s dilemma of trying to figure out who she really is. She will be trying to grasp what are these new strange powers that she has and what do they mean.  Alan elaborates:

“Sookie still doesn’t know exactly what she is. She will get closer to figuring out why she has these random powers that show up when they do,” says Ball. (Spoiler alert: In the books, Sookie discovers she has fairy blood running in her.) “She is definitely part of a different race,” adds Ball. “In terms of fairies, like perky fairies with wings, like Tinkerbell, no, they’re not like that. If it is fairies, they’re fierce. They’re not pretty, soft, glamorous, gossamery things. They’re really, really, really powerful and primal creatures.”

Perhaps one of the biggest question, which has been hinted at for several months now, is the developing relationship between Sookie and Eric.  Will it develop and if so how and when?  In season 2 we saw the effects the little drops of blood that Sookie ingested had on her in terms of her having very vivid sexual dreams with Eric.  At times they have frightened her, disgusted her and presented her with feelings of guilt, yet at the same time peaked her curiosity. So will these dream turn into reality between the two of them?  Will a romance develop between Eric and Sookie?  Alan states:

“I can definitely tell you [we’ll see that] in the show. I don’t know if it will necessarily be in Season 3. Of course they’re going to come together, it’s fated. It’s not something that’s going to happen right off the bat.”

Both Alan and Sam discuss Sam‘s fate in season 3, which again runs along the theme of finding out one’s identity.  Sam will be searching for his biological family to find answers about himself and perhaps develop a connection with them however based on what Alan and Sam state it doesn’t look like it is going to be a very happy outcome. Sam explains:

“As I understand it, I’m going to be trying to find my biological family, who put me up for adoption or abandoned me. I have a feeling they’re going to be very creepy, sketchy, weird, shape-shiftery weirdos. They’re going to be bad news.”

Now will Sam‘s love life improve this season?  That we do not know yet, but it doesn’t seem very likely considering the betrayal he suffered with Daphne and his feeling for Sookie not being reciprocal. Sam says,

“Can he ever trust a woman again? I don’t know if he can, so he may have to just turn into an animal, stay an animal and seek love that way,” jokes Trammell. “I hope he does, in all seriousness, but it could take a season or two for him to build up that confidence again.”

What other little tidbits does Alan provide?  He does state that we will also see some new shape-shifters who may be Sam‘s biological family, new vampires and werewolves and the return of some characters from Season 2.  Who are they?  Well,  Alan mentions that the Queen Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood) will return in season 3 along with Godric (Allan Hyde) who we will see in flashback scenes.

So much information to digest and dwell upon that it will either help quell the hunger for True Blood or increase fans’ anxiety for the season to begin.  Comment below on what you think and how you feel about these spoilers.

I for one cannot WAIT to see Eric and Sookie together,at first I was totally team Bill,but having seen a bit more of him and read a few more the books,there is definitely something BIG between them and I am totally team Eric now!! Bring on the Eric storyline!!

    What did you see or read that made Bill so offensive to you? Was it what he did in your books, or on the TV program?

    I understand on some of the “I-Hate-Bill” sites say it stems from him apparently raping Sookie. Then on the same sites they say Sookie is a slut in the books. WT#

    I am Team TrueBlood!!! and a Bill fan.

    I confess that I did not read the books. I bought the first book, then reading Team Eric and book lover posts of hate and discontent about Bill, I took the book back to Borders. I am a True Blood fan so I figure I wouldn’t want to read any of the books anyway.

    When AB bought the rights to the characters and books, he didn’t need to follow the books to the letter. Plus, the program is only based on the characters and southern vampire stories.

    I have no opinion on the hook-up between Eric and Sookie.

    Bill needs a woman with more substance than Sookie, so if I have any kind of an opinion then I guess Eric is “deserving” of Sookie.

    I don’t believe Eric is evil he’s just acting like a school yard bully who is trying to empress the most popular girl in school. It doesn’t mean I don’t like the “character” that AB presents to us. Eric’s one liner’s tend to be quite funny.

    I know there are serious debates between the book lovers and TrueBlood program lovers. I am not posting here to be sucked into a debate about whatever…….I have a few Eric fans that respect my opinions and I respect theirs. They help me a lot with understanding Eric…oh yes, and they have read the books, and are big True Blood fans.

      It is difficult even I have to admit, trying to seperate the Books from the series.

      I like them both, maybe the series has the slight edge, only because of as I see it, more character development by AB.

      But never would I say I hated Bill, dislike his continuous “Sooooookie is mine” it does grate after a while, but no never hate.

      I am a true Blood fan through and through.

      Eric in my opinion does have the edge over Bill.

      So roll on next year, sob, sob, sob…………..

        I agree Missyella. I’m having a hard time separating books/series as well. The books were so great that I just wanted the series to follow them and play out what I have read. I’m not saying the series isn’t great, because it is. Ok, maybe not so much of the Maryann/maenad thing but overall A- rating. I also do not hate Bill. He has his good points and bad points. He also really does love Sookie, but is it too late (in the books only)?? Time will tell. I think he may have realized the error of his ways too late, who knows. In the series, I think we are just going to start to see all sides/agendas of Bill, good and bad. Will be interesting to see the outcome of S3.

    I am totally ready for sookie and eric to expand their horizons. I know the title of the next book comming out in May, or at least I have heard what it is, and the plot that is to follow, and I say bring it on. It should be awesome. I love Bill, but the Bad Boy side of me can’t wait for the rivalry between them to begin and to see what will happen. But I truly am torn between two vamps right now.

I am hoping that Godric’s character will be used in the flashbacks that Eric will have, don’t forget they have centuries between them, good and bad, I should imagine a lot of bad…….. (they had to survive massive obstacles to be where they are now (apart from Godric, sadly departed), so you can imagine how that would have affected their own departed humanuty).

I think AB will do the right thing IMHO and have Godric back as a staple, if only in Eric’s memories….

    I agree Missyella, love Godric. Since there is 1000 years worth of memories, I could see Godric as a recurring character in many seasons. Maybe Eric will be drawing on memories when different situations arise. That would be great. Can’t wait.

        It was so sad to see him go. That was the first thing that came to my mind also. If Godric didn’t meet the sun he and Eric together….wow so powerful! The things they could’ve accomplished together. Plus their bond is so deep and real. I am sooo looking forward to the flashbacks in season 3 and just more of Eric PERIOD. I rewatched season 1 and wonder about the long shadow staking scene. If Bill wasn’t able to stake long shadow on time would Eric just stand there and watch her die? I really dont think so. I think he stood there because he saw Bill rescue her on time. Which was courageous of him especially knowing the consequences of killing another vamp. True blood Bill is so different from Book Bill. I love them both. I know Eric finds her telepathy very valuable so he wouldn’t want to lose her. Especially in season 1 he’s only curious about her and wants to take advantage of her gift. But in season 2 esp toward the end I think he’s starting to feel something for her. UGH the wait is too long….

          Amy/Missyella, I know, the wait is killing me and we have at least 5 more months to wait. If you read the books, Eric was the one who staked Longshadow instead of Bill so AB changed that scenario around. The spoilers should be coming in soon, they are filming and casting. YAY!!! And yes, looking forward to seeing Godric’s and Eric’s relationship throughout the 1,000 year past.

Read a fantastic rumor in Canyon News by Tommy
Garrett (http://www.canyon-news.com/artman2/publish/On_the_Industry_1168/This_Week_In_Hollywoodland110109.php) about ERIC BRADEN (of Young AND Restless being cast as the Ultimate King of the Vampires. This would be fantastic. Braden could really sink his teeth (excuse the pun) into this one. Let’s hope it’s true.

So glad Sookie and Eric will eventually get together. Before I read the books this would have seriously pissed me off. But after I read em, I can’t stand Bill. They try to make him look so good in the show.

    Tracey this is True Blood and a different medium therefore up to this point in time Bill has been great to Sookie. So what happens next we don’t know for it has not been written. Therefore from a logical standpoint it would be difficult for a viewer to understand why Sookie would go with Eric when up to this point in time Bill has been great and there has been so much passion between Bill and Sookie. So Alan is not TRYING to make him look good, Bill on True Blood is a different character from the Book series.

      I am a big fan of the show and Alan Balls vision. The show is based on the books but as we have seen is its own entity. I love the show and support Alan in all he chooses to do with the storyline.

      Oh I def agree that it’s very different. And Bill has been great to Sookie, but since I read the books I just can’t shake this grudge against Bill. But in the show Eric isn’t the sweet charmer he is in the books, so your right I do base to much of my opinions on the books. But I’m just very partial to Eric, he has more of a personality.

    So Glad that a Sookie/Eric Hook-up is in the works! Sookie needs to grow up and explore her options! Bill may have been her first But How Many people wind up in Lasting Love relationships with their 1st??! I’m NOT saying for her to dump Bill, But at Least Eric Has a Job! He owns His Own Club makes his own $$ Even Though So Does Sam….Why was she with this Bill character,again?? OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH! Did I Say That??
    Besides, Dont You think it would ultimatelly strengthen their relationship if they saw other people and learned something from experience? If Sookie Were MY daughter I’d want her to go after someone like Sam! He Works He makes his own living and $$ He Owns His OWN Buissness You Wont go hungry Plus He Really Likes YOU,Gal!! Plus Sam can go out in the daytime!

      Antonio what are you talking about? To grown up and explore her options. I’m sorry but I must say this. At this point in time Bill and Sookie are in a loving relationship where both love and appreciate each other and they are there for each other. Why ruin a good thing like that to “explore her options”? I for one do not want True Blood to turn into a show, like so many other shows, where I lose respect for the characters.

        Hi Adore B Yes, B&S Were in a Loving Commited relationship.
        But Now that He is gone It will give her some time to reflect and re-evaluate her relationship with Bill. Lets not forget she’s 25 Still Very Young! Who Knows Anything about Life at That Age?? Im NOT denying her passion for Bill But it would seem to me that She has some soul-searching and maturing to do!
        Plus Bill Is Absent Now Because of the abduction What will She think? He Abandoned her maybe in a rage or hurt feelings?
        Sookie Stackhouse Needs to Grow to Change To Evolve…Just as Bill AND Eric have evolved over time!
        Sam Also Needs to Grow!
        Bill and Sookie have an Incredible relationship But Can it withstand this “test”? Will Miss Stackhouse undergo a “Bill Withdrawal” will she seek to “lick her wounds” in the comfort of Another Man(Vampire,Were) Arms??
        My Point IS Now that Bill is taken away sommewhere He can No Longer be there for her protect her love her past her pain?
        What may be Worse Yet? Bill will sense when She is in trouble and will NOT be able to help her.
        All of This AND MORE will we see in S3!

          LOL! I can see your point about how will she deal with his absence and will test their relationship. LOL! the point about her being 25 and saying that a 25 doesn’t know anything yet hopefully is not an indication about 25 year olds today LOL! All I will say is I am very close to approaching my silver wedding anniversary and I was much younger then Sookie is now. 🙂 Many 25 years old and younger are quite mature and Sookie seems quite mature just slightly naive about people. 🙂

If sookie, and Eric get together. I am done with the rest of the shows. Starting 2 seasons with bill, and sookie as the mains, and then changing the romantic side of it to some thing else? Come on! That is just wrong. It kills the show in my mind. Every one likes Eric because of his looks, and how he treats every one in the movie? Thats why you want to make it Eric, and sookie now? Wow. A great show down the tubes. All because of the books, and Eric. Wow.

    I disagree. I think it would be good for Sookie to be with Eric at some point. She may also go with Alcide. Sookie needs to grow up and mature. Besides How can she know her love for Bill is real if its not put to a test? Its ONLY through adversity that stregth of character is revealed! Besides What If She cant find Bill Next year. She needs some1 right?
    May as well be ERIC! He cares for her too in some way.

    Randy,
    Please do not say you are done with the show if it does not go exactly the way you want it to. There has already been so much negativity for the show from those have read the books and prefer Eric even though the first 2-3 books are about Bill and Sookie. So that negativity never made any sense to me. Plus this show is based on the books, it will never be exactly the same.

    I am a big Bill fan and I will always want to see him on the screen. But these distractions in the love story are what create drama. Drama is necessary for the shows survival.

    I have read all the books and have found Alan B.’s version so much more worthwhile so don’t count him out yet. Alan B. has also read all the books and I think that he (and I agree) sees what was always there “between the lines”, that others did not or do not want to see. That is what he is basing his story and the show on!

    As to Eric, he is a great character. Who would not like him? He is tall, sexy, handsome and an authority figure. His time is coming. But as Tara once said, “I’ ve never seen a bird fly so high that it doesn’t have to come down sometime”.

    Stay with us Randy, we need all the lovers and supporters of this great show to stick together. It is the best show on tv!

      I totally agree,

      Two different entities and both are wonderful, remember Allan Ball has only used the Books as a template, the series is not to be taken literally, or verbatum.

      Charlaine Harris has already said she is keen to see what Alan has done with the storyline.

        Randy, please you can’t give up now. Sookie needs to sow her wild oats. She has only had 1 serious boyfriend in her life and she’s 26 years old. She needs to explore other options before she can make a decision. She will have a couple other suitors as well. How many people end up with their first love?? I’m sure some do, but most don’t. Who knows, she may very well end up with Bill but it’s fun to see her explore other options as well. I vote we stay in it for the ride and see where we go. No matter what, I guarantee it will be a wild ride!!! Stay with us. 🙂

          It is true that Bill is Sookie’s first love, but he won’t be her last.

          Besides she will have life changing decisions to make about her future, as Jaxx says she is only 26 – 27, very young!!

          Will she forsake a normal life for one where she knows she will age, while Bill/Eric do not, will she marry a Were and have to try and produce offspring?

          I agree Missyella. There are a lot of possibilities for this girl to explore. Don’t forget she is not entirely human so there is more out there for her. It will be fun and interesting to see where this goes. I can’t wait until S3.

          I agree, sookie needs to figure out what or who she wants and how can she really do that if she hasn’t given herself the chance to see what she could become. She is really only learning the ropes when it comes to relationships, and I bet if she works out a few more details so to speak, sookie will be even more of a fire cracker than she is now. I think she will become a force to be recon with in her own time.

    Most people on the boards know that I’ve not read the books and I don’t plan to. Alan Ball’s True Blood is what I am addicted to. Alan may take bits and pieces of the books, plus he paid hansomely for the use of the characters, but his show is his own and not CH’s.

    I am not a Sookie fan or really Eric fan so I really have no opinion of them as a couple.

    I’ve always believed that Bill needs a female of worth and intelligence….which Sookie sure is not.

      I am also a huge fan of the show. Alan is brilliant! I love what he has done with the storyline. It is crazy, wild, sexy and hugely entertaining! As far as I am concerned he has improved on the books a hundred fold!
      I never cared for Book Sookie. I hope he continues to make show Sookie a more likeable, decent, intelligent, less selfish character.

      Hi Nanavamp I also have little desire to read Any of the books at This point. I’d like to though sometime. I must say that I am in favor of a Sookie-Eric involvement. The love triangle between Sookie-Eric-Bill began in S2. I’d like to see what comes of that! Eric is Ruthless and somewhat of a Narccissist,But in S2 WE got to see a different side of him. He wanted to help Sookie when she was attacked by Maryann, Plus I thought it was kind of “sweet” and Uncharacteristic of Eric to protect Sookie with his body in the bomblast…He didnt Have To And considering his dislike for humans it was a stretch for Him I’m sure! He “deceived” her right afterward,I know which wasnt too nice,by making her drink his blood~~~That scene Was SO Funny! I Still laugh mmy butt off thinking about it!
      I like Bill,But Now that He is “out of the picture” So to speak,
      I think A Sookie/Eric romance would be Cool and a lot of fun!!
      Actually, I think Sookie And Eric are alike They clash because they are Both stubborn and Willfull! I’m looking forward to seeing More character development with Eric!! Bill is “hurt” by his experiences this is true to see. This does Not mean that Eric is Any less “wounded” by his vampire past it Just may mean He has become better at Hiding It! Eric IS Older!
      I Like Bill He’s my favorite But his “pity party” is really starting to get on my nerves! Bill feels “sorry for himself” a bit too much I think! Eric Doesnt! I mean this whole “Sookie Love Me Because I was turned against my will!” thing wears thin after a while! I thought the “sex dream” of Sookie and Eric was So Cool! Eric Does have feelings for her I think!
      It Would feed his vanity if he could “Steal” her from Bill!
      Sookie would have to work Even Harder to win Eric’s “love” respect,trust but I think it could be So worth it! Who wants to see people getting along alll the time?! Not that she and Bill did not have their tense moments…I Love that when he chewed her out in front of Jessica~~~wasnt very nice of him,I know
      But that whole Jess goes home—attacks her dad—Bill comes to “clean it up”—-Bill yells at Jess—Then Yells at Sookie is Priceless and Classic!!
      But Now that Bill is gone, I think it would be cool to see her explore her “feelings” for Eric!
      Of course, If In a later episode in S3 OR S4 If She finds out that Perhaps He DID have something to do with Bill’s disappearance…Well Who Knows??
      Bill’s abduction gives the show More Tense Drama!!
      How boring it would have been to see Sookie accept and then have them “married off” and moving away somewhere together! This ISNT Twilight!!
      This show Needs Conflict!
      Besides Sookie needs to grow the Heck Up! Shes NOT Cinderella and Bill Is NOT her Knight in Shining Armor!!
      Living “Happily Ever After” is For Little Girls!!
      For adults there needs to be Conflict,Adversity and Growth!
      Perhaps Sookie could experience this with Eric OR Alcide!

        I agree antonio. Adults need the conflict, adversity and growth. Has anyone been watching Vampire Diaries on CW. I know it caters to the young people, but they really have all three conflict, adversity and I hope growth.
        I wasn’t too interested at first, because I am in that 30% over 50 viewers of TB. But, I must admit I’ve been pleasantly suprised. The actors who play the brothers are very good at pulling off the conflict and adversity. In away, I wish Bill was more like Stephan.

        I know this is a minor thought of mine, but I thought Eric was m ore believable and sexier with his long hair and callus personality (which I guess he still has). Why on earth they cut his hair I’ll never understand.

          Hi NanaVamp,

          The reason I read that they had Eric cut his hair, was that the Wigs, were thought not to work very well.

          Hence the scene in the Basement with Lafayette and the other Man Eric killed when as he said, “do I have Blood in my Hair”, I suppose as it was being highlighted at the time, it was not a good idea to keep it long.

          I don’t mind Eric with short Hair.

        Ah Antonio, welcome to the dark side. LOL. I think you are finally seeing what the Eric/Sookie fans see.

        I totally agree with your post.

        Yes, Eric is ruthless and a Narccissist, but that is Eric. All vampires have done bad things in their early years. Look at Bill and Lorena. They killed plenty of people for the sport of it. He is not Mr. Innocent either. If AB takes this route with Eric, you will also find out that he is fiercly loyal to people who are loyal to him and he does care for Sookie. He is 1000 years old and Bill is 174 years old. Bill hasn’t been a vampire that long, his human feelings would reawaken much faster than Eric’s. It will take Eric a little longer to get in touch with humanity again. But he will. It’s still there. It’s been so long since he felt something for anyone. Eric had become bored with humanity.

        Enter Sookie, a breath of fresh air. Something different about her than most other humans. Enough for him to take notice, start stirring those 1000 year old feelings again. We should see the glorious side of Eric, especially the more he is around Sookie. He’s sort of like the boy at school who annoys you mercilessly when he likes you.

        Antonio, like you said, and I’ve mentioned in other posts too, Sookie is 25-26 years old at this point. NEVER had a serious boyfriend before. She needs to sow some wild oates. She will probably have more suitors. She doesn’t know what she wants yet. Let her taste the wine. Does she even WANT a vampire?? She is already questioning what will happen when she grows old. I think it will be good for her to explore what else is out there so she can make the right choice in the end. Decide what she wants for herself. Does she want to get married at all? Have human children? Can she give that up? Will she be missing out? As much as I love Eric, maybe Sam would be the better choice, if she wants a family and someone to grow old with??? This is what she needs to sort out.

        Most people do not end up with their first loves. Maybe she will and maybe she won’t. We’ll just have to let her sort that out for herself.

          I couldnt have said it better,Myself and Believe Me I’ve Tried! 🙂 This Isnt a Soap Opera Nor is it the “Bill And Sookie Show” It IS a Series about the Graphic,Gritty, Harsh World of Vampires and How They and Others around them Deal with this ultra-grim reality of theirs! Both Sam AND Sookie wish they were More “Normal” “Average” But They Are Exceptional!
          I Know that Many of You are pulling for Bill and Sookie~~I secretly hope that things will pan out for them,too HOWEVER,
          Bill Is Gone! Taken Away!! Who Knows By Whom??
          I think that Sookie Stackhouse is Much stronger than Bella Swan per say…The Latter tried to kill herself by leaping off a cliff into the sea When her “love of life” left her!
          Bella Was weak and somewhat whiny it wasnt until AFTER She Became A Vampire that she seemed stronger!
          Sookie Is Much Stronger Than THAT I believe!
          I dont get the vibe that She will “crumble” or “fall apart” without Her Guy ~~~which is Sexist I think to imply~~
          Excuse Me for saying this But SOOKIE Doesnt NEED Bill…HE NEEDS Her!! He needs to feed off of her Her blood her love
          Her affection He Needs Her for these things!
          I would be More concerned about Him! Whats to become of Him?
          Will he dehydrate or “starve” without her blood? Will he become even more troubled,Tormented without her Love Her kisses
          Her affection??
          I hope whomever abducted him doesnt “drain” or “starve” him!
          That would be cruel!
          I Still like Bill but I think Now she should be with Eric even if its just for half a season or something!
          I agree with you Jaxx We Must follow along where ever AB chooses to take us! Even if we dont like the storyline!
          Look at last year, I couldnt stand the Whole Maryann Storyline!
          I thought she was a Whackjob!! a total psycho!!
          But I followed the story and it turned out great Sam with Bill’s help Nixed the vile b*tch!
          What was Cool about New Moon…The book was that it was a great plot device for Ms.Meyer to “force her lovers apart”
          In This way,You intensify the drama! Of course, as We know
          Bella did NOT handle it well…At All!
          She became a thrill seeeking daredevil and wanted to hurt herself to try and feel Some connection to her Beloved Edward(~~There Is a Good message for Young Girls?? Right? NOT!!)
          I think that SOOKIE is Much stronger thann she looks!
          I think she will Have to enlist Eric’s help if she ever wants to see Bill again! Sam could be a Big help to her but He will be Away on personal buissness! I like Bill and I’m still on his team but in order to have a winning team some times changes need to made!
          1 More thing, With Bill away Someone will have to watch out for Sookie! It may as well be Eric even though she cant stand him, he would be good for protection and he does care for her!
          Jason is much too self centered and a bonehead to watch out for her! Sam is Away who knows for how long? When Sookie is in trouble in S3 Bill will Not be able to help her! At least No 1 will mess with Eric hes tough!!
          I mean shes smart and savvy but shes NO Buffy!!
          She needs Help!! 🙂

    Hello James Welcome! Your name reminds of the sadistic tracker in the 1st Twilight book/film! 🙂
    As for Bill’s true motives regarding Sookie, We Don’t know where AB plans to go with that as far as the Show goes!
    Remember the Books AND The Show are somewhat different thats NOT a bad thing! I’m sure if you have read Twilight the 1st book You might get a different mental picture of Him than whats portrayed in the film. In the 1st TL Book, Jacob Black is a Minor character,More like a plot device. Its Not till the 2nd Book that His character is more fleshed out.
    This dynamic from the books, sounds fascinating! its No wonder shes up to book 10! If she had kept it purely Bill and Sookie “lovebirds” It may not have lasted to Book 4!
    I think,And I have NOT read the books, That it would take a great amount of personal conviction and soul searching for some1 to mull over an apology “I Wronged You,Yes I’m NOT Gonna deny it
    Can You Forgive Me?” At This point it seems that Show Bill doesnt want to “Own Up” to Anything he does good,bad OR indifferent! All He says is “I Cant Lose You He Even said “I will NOT apologize for How YOU make me Feel!” Is THAT a Heartfelt Apology?? Wouldnt it be More endearing to hear him say “Sookie,I’m a Bastard I’m NO Good! But I Love You!”

    I’d say at least 6 months! S1 was released in late May this past year S2 began in mid June. Perhaps Next Year S3 will be released sooner?? Season 3 begins shooting in early Dec. But the first episode of S3 will Not air until June of 2010…It will be a long wait to be sure!!!

I believe that Bill may have been kidnapped by Lorena because Eric found out about the engagement and was angry and told Lorena.Lorena then came and did the deed.OK there is three others Eric or the Queen or even Hadley, the Queen is more likely than Hadley. But then you think why did Bill come to Bon Temps(is it following the book,is Eric saving Sookie from a love that was founded by the Queen’s orders…or is it Hadley after the same goal). Eric may have done it but he’s sheriff with underlings Pam, or another may have done for him.

Poor Sam, hope he finds what he is really looking for. I have always wondered about Sookie – does her powers she really possess only come out now that she has “connected” with vampires?

I hope that Hoyt and Jessica are able to get together – at least with some positive relationship. Their relationship seems to be more realistic to alot of today’s couples…..

By the way, does anyone know who won the contest to appear as an x-tra on True Blood – I wish it would have been myself! What a great bucketlist thing to have been able to accomplish…. Maybe there will be other contests to enter!

It would have been a great episode if it could focuse around a Halloween celebration in Bon Temps.

    I just cannot get enough of this show, we are on episode 2 now of season 1 on England’s Channel 4.

    Mercifully I have seen thank God all 24 episodes, as I would heve been chomping at the bit!!!!!

    I hope AB gives Sam’s character a really good storyline, I wonder if it will involve the evil Debbie Pelt?

    More Godric yay, if only in flashback, but it would be good to see more of Eric’s background story and how he turned Pam, yes we know he was a Viking, but over the Centuries what else was he/they up to?

    Reading all the other posts here, I can only say that the fans of True Blood are fangtastic and keep the spooilers coming so I can add my two pennies worth as and when.

Oh my!!! I was getting really excited when I was reading the spoilers(like the show was coming on soon), but then I came back to reality andrealized it is only October…:-(.
Comment..I am neutral about Sookie and Eric getting together. I don’t feel the ‘sexual tension’ that you can feel when you watch Bill and Sookie. I think Eric-while extremely sexy- is not a bad boy that we all like-IMHO he is conniving and deceitful. Maybe if Eric saw the error of his ways, let down his guard and showed some serious compassion I could get into them 2.
As for Sam.. Why does Alan have to make our favorite border collie suffer???? Can’t the dog get some love?!?! I know that technically it has only been about 3-4 weeks (reagarding time) from season 1 and season 2. Can Sam at least have some hot one-night-stand sex? Maybe a hot steamy female could come thru the town and they just tear it up, then she leaves but he doesn’t fall for her because he knows it won’t happen but he needs the one-night stand to feel really good about himself.. Or he is so stressed that some love could help him? I really like Sam so I hope AB doesn’t make Sam suffer that much… Give Sam a kibble or something! 🙂

    With regards to Sam I agree You. Sam should have at least something! In the interview Sam Trammell says that He may not trust a woman again for a long time! What with his betrayal by Daphne and his feelings for Sookie that were Not reciprocated.
    ST said he can see Sam loving again but it miight take him time.
    Poor Sam! Perhaps someone at Animal Planet could get him a date?? LOL 🙂 As I’m given to understand, Mr.Trammell doesnt do Too bad in that department…Not surprising though!

It’s great to read some plot info about the upcoming season!Especially from Alan and Sam! It will be a long wait indeed!
Hopefully in the spring of next year season 2 will be out on dvd. I hope there will be lots of special features like interviews with cast members. The promos for season 2 should be on there,too as well as Depeche Mode Video Corrupt

Wow awesome spoilers! Why is there only 12 episodes per season not fair! Sam is such a great guy I really hope he finds happiness and some stability in season 3. As for Sookie and Eric thank you Alan for confirming that they will eventually come together!
