True Blood’s Eric Northman is ‘Scene’ In Louisiana

Skarsgård Shot Ensures Great Holiday Magazine Cover:

As one of the stars of the action sci-fi film, ‘Battleship,’ (Release date: May 18, 2012) True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård is on the cover of Louisiana’s Entertainment Magazine – Scene Magazine’s November-December issue. Filming of the might-be blockbuster took place in part in Louisiana which most fortunately is experiencing a surge in productions being made there.

Very exciting that Alexander is in great company, sharing starring credit with Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch. He should have a nice chunk of screen time! Anyone else planning on seeing ‘Battleship’?

  1. Even if you’re not into war stories–and I’m not–Generation Kill is really worthwhile. Even if you aren’t watching Alex (if that is even POSSIBLE) it’s a true story and it’s RIVETING. Superb performances and well dramatized. That it didn’t get an Emmy is sheer highway robbery. By all means purchase it and watch it. I spread it out over several days. Got so I couldn’t wait to see the next episode.

And Alex is buff, bonny and beautiful.

    1. Ah yes-the 3 B’s! I even read the book and was amazed by the soldiers attitudes toward war and death! I had ,honestly, never thought about it before!(And I was once married to someone who had fought and killed in a war)
Good question why it didn’t win any emmies when it was nominated for so many!

  2. Caitlin you should really watch it-its not like most other”war” movies. It is pretty much reality and there is LOTS of Alex! The only thing is,of course,no women, sex or lovin-sigh!! Alex has his shirt off enough though to satisfy!

    1. I second that Val. It really is a good series and you get to see Alex play a different type of character. He really is a good actor.

    1. @val
      LOL!

I’m ashamed to admit I’ve not see Alex in anything other than True Blood and in interviews. I’m sure he’ll be amazing in ‘Battleship.’ (I can only imagine what he looks like on the big screen!)

      1. He was really good in Generation Kill. Those types of shows aren’t usually my thing but I really enjoyed that series.

          1. I agree too. I’m really not into a war series but he just made it watchable and it really was a good show.

          2. I bought Generation Kill last year and I still haven’t watched it. Funny Val. I might buy a cereal I hated if he was on the cover.LoL
